[Day 3 - MA] The Vrakul Trident Heist [Heist Event]

Dotted with fishing towns this rugged coastline is a frontier region relatively free of Imperial interference.

Jenna glanced around, quick, when the woman began making her way toward the stairs to see if she could see any of her crew giving a signal but without it she pushed up that smile again and..

"We so do," she moved up to meet her side by side on the walk up the stairs. Leaning in, shoulder touching shoulder, she whispered out the side of her mouth, "Sooo, which one was he? Or she?" she gave the corniest raise of her brow.

She pointed out a rather brutish twi’lek talking to the mayor of Rygor. She said, “Once he gets into his drinks he only talks with his fists.”

She then gestured to Bowse and said with a sly grin, “You know him, he looks wealthy.”

Vaya had been keeping an eye out, and even distracted by what's-her-Amazonian-physique from down the hall hanging out by the pool by maybe-the-Inquisitor, noticed Jax talking to someone she didn't recognize. Which could be either a problem or opportunity, but either way, she could help. She started to move around the ship, trying to make it so she would be seen by Jax over the other woman's shoulder first, and so could be signaled away or to intervene in some way. She wove through partygoers who all assumed they were much more important than her, a glass of water in her hand as a prop.

"Ahhh~~" she exclaimed, loudly, then giggled into her hand that held the drink as delicately as a proper maiden. Which, that she was not, made her want to gag. Glancing then from one, to the other, she shriveled up a bit with the faint hint of recognition. Making a 'blech' type of sound in the middle of her throat she looked back to the woman, noticing Vaya but committing to her course for the moment, "Neimoidians... they all look the same, don't they? Such an unpleasant bunch, and the slimey.." she retches once more, "having to shake hands with one even, makes my skin crawl."

"But.." she tapped her chin with the glass in her hand as she looked thoughtful, thoughtful and somewhat dumb, maybe just drunk, but it was a play regardless so truly did it matter? "Hmm.." she cast a glance back over the womans shoulder as she pretended to think, catching Vaya's glance and then darting her eyes off, she was fine, as far as the signal intended to mean. "Maybe? I've had to deal with so many lately.. did he have any interest to you?"

Vaya didn't actually know what Jax could do, but was pretty sure she knew her depth, and turned away, going instead to get close enough to Bowse to give and receive similar sorts of all-good signals and find a quiet moment to check in with Venator on her commlink.

His mechanical hand instinctively moved to comfort her shoulder as he said, “You are a vision, I cannot say which distracts me more this incredible view or your presence.”

He then added wryly, “This may be a detriment to our mission… my mission at least.”
Her eyes squinted a little as she slipped off her shades, so that he could see she was looking at him. "My presence?" she asked, placing a hand over his mechanical one to return the gesture.

"Good luck," she smiled a crappy smile, putting an arm on the other woman's forearm and then letting her go. Waiting, for the moment, to see her off toward her goal before using the opportunity to find some.. action herself.

She recognized the name from the holocall. The one Vader said he was going to send in because he was displeased with the current situation.

"You think she would want to meet with me?" she asked, clearly surprised.

Giving the other woman a final tap on the wrist she smiled and walked on, off to her glorious adventure elsewhere.

Going to collect her things was easy but she had a rather simple first step, finding a member of security she laid her path out over the rim of a glass and planned her move with inspired delight. For the first in a while this afternoon the smile was genuine. Then she set off walking in a self-important manner down the length of the ship and.. crash.

"OH, MY, I AM SO SORRY," she shouted, tossing her now empty glass into a nearby persons hands. "LET ME HELP YOU," she continued, her voice labored as if a drunken heiress. Giggling amid her attempts to look apologetic, her hands went to the security guards shirt and started trying laboriously to dry it off as best she could with her bare hands. It wasn't helping, at all, and everyone knew it but she was so persistent in her efforts to help.

What they didn't notice, of course, was that in the commotion she'd deftly slipped their security key-card into her dress with most all none the wiser.

Being the only one free at the moment it would seem Bowze would have to chat up the captain. He moved slowly, sampling the place as some person of importance until he met the man in question who seemed to be finishing talking to someone.

This was time to catch him unawares

Meanwhile, Venator patrols around the ship. He quietly slips into the area(s) holding the vault(s) and then makes sure to leave the door open so that the others can get in later.

He finds a small quiet spot to report in on the comm. "Barn door's wide open."

He returns to his patrols with no one none the wiser.

Jenna slipped the security key-card with none the wiser of her slick antics, the guard was a bit put off by the attention but her earnestness at least made him oblivious of her real ploy. Meanwhile Venator makes entry with easy and the gap in security allows them access to the secure of the ship.

The Captain was more than happy to receive the praise and gave the nemoidian a brief if illuminating tour of the ship and the many luxuries and amenities by the end they were fast friends, the Captain even offered to the Nemodian their card in case they had need for a luxury liner.

Once finished Bowse they departed and the former CIS general was mingling when someone pulls him into a bedroom and pushed him against the wall with surprising strength. The sniper was there with a tactical vibro-blade in hand and said sweetly, “We need to have a chat, General.”

OOC: Bowse can gain the Captain as an ally for the future with the Triumph. Despair used for interception by Lyla.

Over the comm there is a slight buzzing which seems to obscure what she is saying.

There is a click from the lock and she said, “General, is this a time for name calling? If I wanted you dead then there would be no conversation this isn’t amateur hour. I wanted to remove you, but the situation has changed and I am inclined to keep you alive. Which complicates matters.”

“So I propose a third option, you die but you live. I am going to need your help and we can both walk away from this with something we want… admittedly your want is probably much more immediate as my understanding of anatomy of multiple xenos species is pretty extensive.”
