[Day 5, EE] Feel the force!

[Oraka Hin]

"Fear controls him now," the old man lamented.

[Xanna Teevou]

"It does Master, but I believe I found a way through. At least for a few moments." She looked back at Oraka. "I could feel Valus still in there. He wonders if he deserves redemption. I think the hope scares him as much as the recognition of what he has done."

She reached out to the force again. It was reassuring to be surrounded by so much nature.

[Oraka Hin]

“He was always mindful of others, how they felt and especially how they felt about him. He cared an admirable trait for any Jedi but care can turn to obsession, to vanity. I am glad you had this encounter, it is as the Force needed it to be, perhaps remind him of who he could be, if he chose to grasp it,” the old man said.

[Xanna Teevou]

"At least there is something left of him. But I must be prepared, in case his fear wins out in the end." She opened her eyes to the water once more, the waves lapping against the shore.

"I have not told the others my real name Master. I thought it safer, that he might use it against them. I mean, Xanna is just a person who makes soup, so knowing that name does not mean knowing a Jedi."

[Oraka Hin]

"Making soup is an honorable Jedi profession, Xanna," he responded.

[Xanna Teevou]

She could not help but laugh happily at that. "This is what I had been telling myself these past few years. Bringing hope and nourishment where there was none. Perhaps now I really am Xanna Teevou?"

Looking over at him she raised her cup. "To soup. Or stew, or ramen, pho, broth..."

[Oraka Hin]

"To soup," he said matching her toast.

"It is truly an honorable path."

[Xanna Teevou]

Her training complete for the day Xanna felt renewed. She had one more meeting scheduled for the day, but tomorrow? Tomorrow was filled with limitless possibilities...
