[D5LE] Technically, This Is Support

A desolate waste of ice shelves, white out conditions, and extreme winds layered on top of the extreme cold. This is wild country.

[D5LE] Technically, This Is Support

Vaya white-knuckled her way through takeoff and landing, but happily let the autopilot take over the rest of the flight from Rygor to the frozen wasteland. She was more comfortable programming it to fly the ship than flying the ship herself. Following Djanik's example, she set the ship to keep running at a minimum power level to keep itself from freezing over while she worked.

Coming into the base, she found that Bowze had sealed himself inside the command center, and refused to come out, insisting he was "infectious." Vaya shrugged, and rather than argue about whether Neimodians and Balosar were biologically close enough to cross-contaminate, just coordinated with him through her commlink as they went about fixing the listening posts part of the listening post.

"Fun fact about subspace transceivers in cold weather!" her voice came over the command center's speakers, distorted by the frigid wind and her shouting over it as she worked in the cold. "It turns out below a certain point..."

There was a light cough coming on the other end of the receiver

''...oh Maker I am dying...I know it...''

He was doomed but perhaps the others could live. He was a general, makerdamnit, he could screw a few bolts before coming to his inevitable end. Inevitable end that would see his body become a bloated necrosed thing filled with pus and disease, pained by every breath.

And that was the cheerful future for he likely would become one of those undead monsters.

He hope T-1 would shoot him before that happens.

Repair the comms array, mechanic hard, valuable facts, boost for tools: 3eA+1eP+3eD+1eB 1 success

Vaya grinned despite herself as she knocked snow off her boots before coming back into the hanger.

"Getting anything good?" she called through the commlink, hoping that it might cheer Bowze up to find something juicy. "You know, if you let me in there, I could see if I could scan for anything..."
