This is either junk, or... well, junk [D7, LM]

"Ooh, ooh, over there!" Verse pointed at a roughly flat looking piece of land on the horizon. It was almost as if she was telling Vaya where to land... which was interesting, given that Verse was the one flying the ship.
"What do you think? Safe to touch down?"

Vaya directed Verse over the wasteland towards a good landing spot, then picked up a conversation they'd been having.
"Wait, you saw what in the Boneyard?"

"Wait, what? Did I see something in the boneyard?"
She had just been telling a story about the time she went there; but where had she been in said story before getting distracted?
"Oh uh... yeah, people on speeders and stuff. And big dead ships I guess."
Slowly, she took the TBD in for landing.

"... right." Vaya helped pick out a flat, stable spot, based on the, er, one other time she'd been there. As she gathered her supplies (ascension gun, macrobinoculars, infrabinoculars, excavation kit) and went down the ramp, she added "So, about that other thing you said..."

She didn't have much in the way of supplies or equipment to take along. Really, it was just her lightsaber to be honest. She looked completely underprepared, probably, next to Vaya.
"What other thing? I say a lot of things, you've got to be more specific Vaya."
Verse rolled her eyes, as if *Vaya* was the one who didn't seem to use her brain much.

Seeing the difference in their loads, Vaya promptly handed the heavy excavation kit to Verse to carry. "About Auratera." They began their search.
ooc: assume the gathering is ongoing, but so Verse isn't in suspense about how much loot there is.
D7LM Verse vs Salvage (boost from aid, boost from tools):
2eP+2eA+2eB+2eD 1 success, 3 advantage
ooc: 1 success is 50, plus 15 per advantage, total 95.
Vaya looked at the pile of scrap, and then at Verse. "You know what, kid," she said, "You can have my cut. Don't spend it all in one place."

"Oh, what about it exactly did I say that you found interesting?"
She carried the kit dutifully, peering around intently as they gathered their junk. Or junk plus... something slightly less junky perhaps.
(Would spend a destiny to find something extra, something Vaya might find interesting?

"About feeling the Force?" said Vaya. She didn't want to prompt Verse too specifically. The whole point was to get at her original meaning, and the girl was so go-with-the-flow she worried she risked just bathaing her into saying what Vaya was thinking.

"Oh, well, the whole place is awash in the light side of the Force. I mean, I think. I didn't go everywhere, and it was a long time ago. But it felt like some of the vergences I've been to, just much stronger. It was really something."

OOC: Find a cool old Aznuri vase, it's a nice find it's not special whizzbang powers but it's an interesting find.

“Oh,” said Vaya quietly. She struggled with the unfamiliar feeling of knowing less than Verse, but ultimately, almost, overcame it. After a few minutes during which they said nothing that wasn’t about about salvage, she was about to ask What’s a vergence? when the find the vase.
“Oh!” says Vaya, immediately switching into archaeology mode. She holds out her hand for various tools from the excavator’s kit.
Ooc: Knowledge roll to identify/date/etc. the vase?

"Everyone and everything's connected through the Force, you know?"
She spoke, picking up the cool vase, that the Force had guided them to.
"And the Light side is everything that is good, and noble. It is joy, and love, and compassion, and wisdom, and generosity, and it takes us wherever we need to be, when we need to be there."
She held the vase out for Vaya to take. "Looks like it's in good condition."

This design dates back to a period some fifteen hundred years ago when the Aznuri were probably the only people on the planet and the colonies had failed or moved on.

Vaya lectured Verse on the vase. Then, buoyed by that sense of intellectual confidence, finally asked "But what exactly is a vergence?"

OOC: In general vergences are very rare.

"Oh, well... I'm not expert on them, mind you. But they're like, places where the Force is super concentrated."

Vaya nodded, keeping her face neutral as she carefully packed the vase for safe transport back to the ship. "And what do you remember about being at Auratera? At a vergence?"

"It's difficult to put into words. Imagine the most powerful sense of... of... knowing everything will be alright no matter what. The most warm, content feeling you've ever felt. Held by your mother's arms as a baby, perhaps. Feeling like that all the time, feeling it in the air around you, the people, the plants, the animals."

"That sounds beautiful," Vaya said quietly, and then followed quickly with, "Is everyone there like you?"

"You mean green? No," she said, "Actually I don't recall any others. From what I remember it was mostly Humans, Duros, Twilek, and Ithorians."

"No!" said Vaya, with a flash of annoyance. "I meant forceful." She realized that that particular adjective might not have currency outside of narrow academic circles. "In touch with," she gestured all around herself with both hands, "the you know, whatever."

"Oooh," she said, blinking at the show of annoyance, "Force Sensitive you mean. No, I don't think so? The Force touches everyone, but only a few are sensitive enough to feel and manipulate its flow."

Vaya's lips twitched as she bit back an apology. "And the others? The ones who weren't as, sensitive. Could they tell the difference?" This is a stupid question. Verse clearly doesn't remember the place very well, and it doesn't sound like anyone gets off planet much.
