Totally not Skyrim [Day 0 - EE]

[Dapper Dog]

Inside the cockpit was the pilot who turned, a human woman of middling age she raised her hands as she was easily outmatched and the controls were not responding, also she was kind of dangling from the now ceiling in her seat.

“Umm I give up?” she said after an awkward moment.

From the back they can hear Weggs say, “I can’t believe that worked!”

[Sinnya]

Sinnya yelped as the craft went tumbling, trying to tuck and roll over one shoulder to protect her already aching lekku. It was... partially successful. She rolled awkwardly to one side of the ceiling-now-floor just as the troopers broke in and started shooting.

With a burst of terrified adrenaline, she grabbed the nearest trooper by his booted ankle and jerked his foot out from under him, bringing him tumbling down on top of her at the exact moment another trooper pulled the trigger on a gun pointing straight at her. The falling trooper caught the bolt in the back of his neck and flopped limply over Sinnya with a clank of armor.

I can’t believe I’m still alive. Sinn panted as she wiggled free. “That really worked? We can go home?”
((Take 3 strain, down a stormtrooper))

[Ria'la Tu'roth]

Obviously that hadn't been the nice smooth 'landing' Ria'la had been hoping for.

"Urgh."

He said as he extracted himself from under the legs of a fallen stormtrooper.

[Qareme Torth]

"I believe it was your own words, was it not? Believe in the Force?" Qareme said as she reached the cockpit, leaning heavily against the wall to avoid putting too much weight onto one of her legs.

"Now for the second part of the plan."

[Sinnya]

"That's the part where we get out of here, right?" Sinnya eyed the downed stormtroopers, visibly nervous. She'd never killed somebody before. Caused them to be killed? Whatever. "And they don't pick us up again right away?"

One of the prisoners had been shot too, she noticed with a shiver.

[Dapper Dog]

OOC: Only one of them is severely wounded unless you chose to kill your storm trooper, it's up to the player if they took them down lethally or not. My assumption was non-lethal but I leave it to you.

[Mianerra Tavvos]

There wasn't much of an attempt on Mia's part to avoid any injury. She shook her head from the impact, a bit dazed emotionally and physically. But as soon as the stormtroopers approached, she managed to put her skills to good use. All it took was a quick disarming and a few whacks in the head with the carbine.

"I've never done that move before. Sometimes it just comes outta me," she remarked, mainly to Dove.

Storm troopers even the sneaky ones stood no chance, they are defeated.

[Verse Aura]

Verse stood back up after having bodyslammed one of the troopers. He was breathing, but she figured he'd be out for a while. Plus, there was a lot going on, and a lot more that would have to happen before they'd be safe; so she didn't particularly concern herself with what might happen if he woke up sooner.

"Great, so now what?" There was a vaguely familiar feeling making itself known to her, but she shrugged it off to focus on the now.

[Dove Gray]

With the immediate threats down, Dove claimed one of their weapons for herself. "Arm yourselves, ladies."

She gave a sharp look to the pilot in the seat, not quite pointing the looted-firearm in her direction but it seemed ready to. "Good choice," she complimented the decision to surrender. "How many more of you are there?"

[Verse Aura]

"I'd... I'd rather have my own stuff," she said as she looked at the blasters.

Which way does the laser come out of again?

[Dapper Dog]

“I am probably the last one,” the pilot said still dangling.

Weggs in the back forced the back door open and shouted toward the front, “I think I can get this running again… like 50% sure, gonna be a few hours have to basically… well it’s gonna take time.”

Light beams in from the outside along with the heat of the outside air and black sand falling into the back, slowly. Weggs added, “I don’t think walking is a good idea.”


Yusandr added, “Bind the storm troopers, and get her down and as long as she minds herself no need to get rough. We need communications, and Weggs I am not sure we have a few hours just get this crate running before those malakas come at us.”

She looked at everyone and added, “Oh, name's Yusandr, most call me Yu… Weggs calls me Andr… either works.”

[Verse Aura]

She looked up from the blasters to Yusandr as introductions came. She hadn't even thought about it with all that had been going on, but it seemed like a good idea to at least get on a first name basis with these people, given the circumstances.

"Verse Aura," she said.

[Qareme Torth]

"I'll echo the 'don't have a few hours'" Qareme nodded, looking back at the stormtroopers then forward to the control panel "I believe we can however access the cargo, although we may have to exit in order to do so?" she looked at the two women who seemed to be running the operation for confirmation.

She looked up from the blasters to Yusandr as introductions came. She hadn't even thought about it with all that had been going on, but it seemed like a good idea to at least get on a first name basis with these people, given the circumstances.

"Verse Aura," she said.

Qareme looked to the last woman who spoke for a few moments, before adding quietly "I am called Qareme."

[Astin Denive]

Astin had gambled on work camp, which is why he had been napping when the scuffle broke out. He was still a bit groggy as he glanced around the area, blinking and rubbing at his eyes.

"Did we stage a revolt while I was sleeping?" He asked after a few moments.

[Sinnya]

"Water. If we're stuck out here more than about an hour we need to find their water." It was the most confident-sounding thing the Twi'lek kid had said yet. She scrambled toward the back. She might make it slightly longer than that herself, but humans didn't do so great in desert heat. "Are we gonna get any warning if more are coming?"

She poked her head out into the sunlight and immediately regretted it as her headache came pounding back. The real imperative, if they had to abandon the transport, would be finding any sort of cover so the troopers couldn't just spot them from the air as they waited for nightfall. If there was a rock formation or big dunes nearby, that would help...

Of course, getting the transport running would avoid that whole problem. Too bad Sinnya had absolutely no clue how to do that.

"I bet I could fly this thing, but I don't know how to fix it... can anybody else help?" she turned back to ask the others diffidently. In this motley crew of women (and one very pretty man--plus, oh, it seemed like the scruffy human male was alive, he'd just been out cold), surely Weggs couldn't be the only one who was capable with a hydrospanner?

Weggs responded, "Cargo is usually on the bottom of the craft which is probably no the top, now, and my guess may be buried under sand so get your shovels!"


Yusandr agreed about the water and added, "Yeah we need to take stock of our water and ration it accordingly. Focus on the good, we are going to get out of here, the Force is with us."

[Astin Denive]

"I'm fairly handy with a spanner. Likely as not could fly this heap too." Astin chimed in as he stretched, though it was a bit hard given his binders. "Shovels though..."

"Do we even have any?"

As the driver was cooperative for now, Dove helped them down from the ceiling... and put the binders to good use again on the surrendered driver. "Sorry, love, can't be too careful. Care to tell us where we were headed?" she inquired, keeping a rather amiable smile. The driver had been sensible enough to surrender, so there was no need to be mean. Yet.

[Mianerra Tavvos]

"You slept through that whole crash?" Mia asked. She then squinted at Astin. "Did you date my sister? You just look familiar. Nevermind, there are more important things right now."

She knelt down by the stormtrooper she had subdued and looked over his utility belt.

"I could have sworn these guys had shovels to dig out trenches. Entrenching tools, that's what they're called."

[Dapper Dog]

Care to tell us where we were headed?" she inquired, keeping a rather amiable smile. The driver had been sensible enough to surrender, so there was no need to be mean. Yet.

"They just call it Camp-14, that's all I know... I would show you but the navcomputer is well the whole thing is down," she responded to the woman.

The storm troopers have entrenching tools.

"Mama always said I could sleep through a tornado." He offered with a friendly smile as he ran a hand through his hair. "I put it down to having eleven siblings, nine of 'em younger. If you could sleep through them you could sleep through anything."

"As for your sister? Maybe, I've dated more then a few." His eyes moved over the other members of the group, noting most of them were female. "What's her name?" Apparently this was important enough for him, or he just liked conversation.

"Peachy. We're gonna have to take a look at that once we get power back." If they got power back.

"Let's bind up these unconscios nerf-herders, and start with the shovelling. Anyone good with fixing things up and can help Weggs get this thing up and running sooner than a few hours?"

"Evanerra. Wait, I don't know why I'm humoring this," Mia blurted out before finally finding the entrenching tool. She walked towards the sand and was thankful to have the shovel. She didn't want this rough and coarse sand all over hands. But she knew that it was a possibility, because sand had the tendency to get everywhere.

She had a lot of reasons to hate sand, but she wasn't a hateful person. Dislikes sand was a better descriptor.

"So we could wipe the logs but how are we going to wipe these guys' memories of us?" Mia asked.

[Astin Denive]

"Evanerra. Wait, I don't know why I'm humoring this," Mia blurted out before finally finding the entrenching tool. She walked towards the sand and was thankful to have the shovel. She didn't want this rough and coarse sand all over hands. But she knew that it was a possibility, because sand had the tendency to get everywhere.

"Name seems familar." He rubbed at the coarse haird on his jaw, eyeing the blonde girl for a moment. "Older sister?"

He was distracted though as the white haired bombshell, asked again about people with technological knowledge. "Well, I already told that pretty Twi'lek Lass. But, I can help fix this thing up as soon as someone gets these binder off." He held out his hands. "Likely as not could do the work with em on, but it's be faster if they weren't on."
