"I'll take your word for it then, though the way the rest of you all seem to talk about I'm beginning to think I should take him out for beers or something sometime. Get to know him a bit better." He seemed to be a popular kid after all.

"Didn't figure you were." He teased as he finished all the measurements and went back to work. It had been more then a tad that the girl had been underestimating, and that meant more adjustments. "I mean, no offense, but I'm pretty sure you haven't even kissed a biy before."

"Still what was that rule they were breaking? Not to have kids? Not to fornicate? If I knew more I might be able to give you my opinion on it. Maybe be able to help clear up matters? I'm pretty worldly when it comes to that sort of thing."

"Why'd I go around kissing boys? You ain't supposed to just kiss anyone. The rules were real clear, no romantic attachments because they lead to bad things. When you're...special, you gotta be careful with romance. Real strong emotions can cause real strong problems."

"I don't know about that myself, seems to me that forbidding it just makes it that much dangerous to most folks, cause then you don't know how to handle it if in when it happens. I've seen too many folks put too much emphasis on who they first had sex with and end up heartbroken and devastated six months later when it don't work out."

He shrugged. "But then I'm no expert on special people, so I'm likely missing a thing or two."

You fall in love with someone, then you break up and you get angst. But like, we get real angsty, so angsty we can't stop. Then you gotta think of the things people do for live. And I don't mean backrubs. Like, real bad things. You know what's I'm talking about?"

"Sounds like they have some problems. Black is nice in lingerie, and little slips of cloth some ladies call a dress, but the rest of the time it's pretty drab and uninteresting. A bit of color can really do most folks some good."

Looking up from his work he smirked. "Life is all about calculated risk, you can just look to nature to see that everyday. Once you stop talking them, well in my opinion at least your on your way to dead already."

I mean apparently your order lasted thousands of years, so seems to me it must of gotten some of the things right. It just sounds to me it might not of gotten everything. But again, I'm not really all that knowledgeable about you special people."

"It got taken by the empire, and one room got slightly blown up. They're at my escape cabin. Two kids and their mom."

From what Astin recalled Floats saying she hadn't been making much money out of her shop when it was open. So it was a little doubtful it could support four people even if it was running.

"Well, I suppose if you're too busy I could always ask around a bit. Though I make no promises. Is skimmers all she is good with? Or could she work with Speeders or farm equipment?"
