He had found him... or a possible location but he is also accosted by a brute of a human woman who overheard his inquiries and shoved him into an alley and pointed her blaster at his face, "Why you lookin' for Dredgen..."

She had a serpent tattoo skirting up her neck and straw like blonde hair under a wide brim hat.

Bowze raised his hand fairly quickly, looking left and right

''I...hum...why do you want to know?''

"You a bounty hunter, sleemo?" she added pressing the blaster tighter to his face.

''Nnnn...no? Do I...look like one?'' sweat was heavy on his brow ''Are you? Are you looking to cash the bounty on him? I know nothing, I swear. I am not taking the bounty"

Is everyone here using that word?

She let him go but kept the weapon drawn, "Fine, but not here."

''Where then?''

She was already walking away with her weapon drawn.

He was not quite sure what to do now so...he opted to follow her

She led him through a maze of alleys and streets before ducking into a dark smoky drinking hole. Figures glanced at glared as she slipped through beaded curtains into a private back room and then sat at a table putting the blaster on the table pointing towards the opposite side.

"So what did you want to talk about?" she asked.

''I...want to recruit him?'' he said, not sure if this was a trick or not.

"I know" he replied with a sigh "But I had hoped to appeal to old ideals...or at least old loyalties"

She looked at him hard and then put a holo-communictaor on the table and said fine, “Make your pitch.”


Dredgen’s form became clear on the table and he looked at Bowze and said in a gravelly voice, “Don’t waste my time.”

Bowze took a breath and began

''Greetings. I am Bowze Coppa formerly Nato Gunray, CIS General.'' he raised a hand, anticipating the objection. ''You don't have to tell me, the CIS as we knew it as gone...but the war is not over. It will never be over until the Empire falls.''

The nemoidian's expression grows severe

''We were betrayed, the jedi were betrayed...used as tools for the scheme of a power hungry madman. The rot at the heart of the Republic made itself manifest within this new regime and we are all paying the price. Some people here on Bankor are ready to do something about it, me being one of them, but a lot of them lack proper experience or mindset. I fear too many treat insurgency as one would treat nerf rodeos: We need expertise and competence. We need you.''

He paused

''I know you have made your place here and got your crew. I am not asking your to follow orders from me or anyone else. I would like you to be at the table to help us plan and fight the Empire.''

“I have seen the clown show they call a Resistance, thought about working with them, but they think this is going to be won with morals and Hope. I prefer to do what I did best, break the enemy and hit them where they feel it. If you’re putting together something, General Gunray, I could be interested,” he said calmly.

“Most of my team is Ex-CIS, some locals, if this is a trap just full disclosure, fifteen other bounty hunters have tried and failed to bring me down. What’s your plan or is this build as you go?”

''I am too paranoid to be a devil may care.'' he replied ''I have several plans but right now I am mostly building up ressources to tap should we require it and eventually cooperating with the rest of the resistance once they get their head out of their asses. The senator from Tion is here too, I could not fully interact with her due to some interference but I expect she does not take kindly to her imprisonement at the hands of imperials''

He leaned back

''If you prefer I can inform you of planned operations and you can gage your interest piece by piece.''

“None of that matters to me, but if you want my people we can work out something, you have a secure location to operate from? Me and mine could use a more permanent solution, go a long way to improving my demeanor,” he said flatly.

''I do, but it is far and inhospitable.'' he said honestly ''I seized an old outpost in the north, I doubt you will like it...there is no plumbing or ammenities.''

He scratches his chin

''One of my teammates are investigating something in the wound. Perhaps it shall serve for what you need?'' he shrugged ''I will look to get you something more interesting.''

"Send me coordinates, inhospitable is good," he responded.

"Plus I know my way around pipes. I like to meet face to face, if I hate you, I'll kill you, simple."

''There is a line for that. Though cooperation might get you VIP access.''

Bowze was ready to send the coordinates
