[Day 8, EA] Adventure? Excitement? Well maybe a Padawan craves these things

Getting close enough to the Graveyards without alerting the Imperials was tricky but the force seemed to be with them, for the moment at least. Perhaps they were busy watching events elsewhere.

Liua was insistent that Usef was lying to them about something. Being the newly minted Knight, Xanna decided to humour her. There would probably be plenty if opportunity for lessons, growth, and all that sort of thing that Padawans needed. Plus maybe she was right? When he was the Bone King, Usef had mentioned stashing a bunch of 'interesting finds' from the wreckage, so off they went.

"Operation Jay Force? Is that not a little extravagant for this little excursion Liua?"

[Dapper Dog]

Liua thought about it and said, "It's wordy but it works."

OOC: Stealth check at Average.

[Xanna Teevou]

Operation Jay Force moved stealthily through the wreckage. They made a good team. Liua was much more used to all of this sneaking around, rather than a straight fight, or talking. Between them they managed to remain unseen.

"So, if you were a Gangster, what would you do with your Jedi treasure Liua?"

[Dapper Dog]

"If I were a gangster and not a rich girl, I would probably bury it somewhere deep I guess. I have never actually buried anything," she said thoughtfully.

"You?"

[Xanna Teevou]

Xanna made a show of thinking about this.

"Well, as a formerly rich not-quite-princess I would imagine that both gangsters and rich girls would bury their treasure in a vault." She looked around the ship Graveyards. "But if I were a gangster king and had to hide my loot before the Imperials came and took it... I think I would bury it inside or under something that looked like it was worthless and already picked over."

[Dapper Dog]

Xanna and Liua moved cautiously through the wreckage looking for something that fit the bill. Their former street kid, former rich kid senses were clearly tingling as they eventually uncovered something!

"I seem to have found it. Or something interesting anyway..."

[Dapper Dog]

The duo find an old wreck of a ship jutting out of the sands and looking very much picked over. There was a split in this YT-1300 where they could enter, the hull looking rusted and shattered.

"What do you think Padawan Liua? This seems incredibly uninteresting, perfectly so. Shall we check it out?" Cautiously Xanna approached and made her way inside, looking for any sign that it might be a hiding place. She pulled out her glow rod and activated its regular glow rod function.

[Dapper Dog]

Liua smirked and said, "Let's go exploring."

Inside the structure there was a feeling of isolation… something odd was here. It tingled her senses.

[Xanna Teevou]

She frowned and looked around. "Can you feel that too? It is a sense of...loneliness perhaps. There is definitely something here. But what?" She closed her eyes and tried to let the force guide her. It must have meant for her to be here, now. Why though?

[Dapper Dog]

"I hear... yeah I hear it and feel it," Liua responded.

They hear the feint sounds of two lightsabers clashing.

[Xanna Teevou]

Xanna raised an eyebrow and looked at Liua. "Okay. That is...interesting. Come on."

She moved further inside and looked for a way to get deeper and closer to the source of the sound. It was weird, like an echo or something. Surely there couldn't be a battle going on down here?

She spoke, more to the force than anything else. "What are you trying to show us?"

[Dapper Dog]

They have a wispy vision of a woman speaking...


“It did what I needed it to do, the rest was immaterial. If my opinion is so inconsequential then why are you here, little padawan? Why so intent to feel justified? You are so transparent, such a need to feel important to have impact. It has to be you that stop the Emperor, only you can search his laboratory, only you can get Lelia killed,” she said nonchalantly as she worked controls on her end.

[Xanna Teevou]

"Who are you?" Xanna watched the exchange with obvious interest. The Emperor? The Emperor's laboratory? Who were these people and who was Lelia?

She approached slowly, reaching out with the force. Had the lightsabers come from here too, or was that elsewhere? "What is she doing?" Her yellow eyes focused on the controls that the blonde woman was operating.

"Liua, do you still hear lightsabers?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I did... who is blondie?" she asked.

[Dapper Dog]

They hear another spectral voice...


"Leilia's death is on the person who killed her, and the person who ordered it." Tethys's voice is stern and ice-cold. "The darkness in your spirit has nothing to do with Layne."

She glances from Layne to Baesal. "Any other small talk? If not, we have our work cut out for us." She unclips her lightsaber and nods firmly to the monitor showing Lunda and Dynos. "Jedi don't leave our own behind."

The steel in her voice is unbending.

[Xanna Teevou]

"I am not sure Liua, but this is important. An echo of something." She took in the faces, the names.

"Lelia, Layne. Could these be the Jedi who first discovered Bankor? And if so, who is this blonde woman?" She concentrated on the images, trying to remember the details.

The was something else though. A feeling that she remembered. Oddly it reminded her of home, Pantora. The old estate and all its ghosts.

[Dapper Dog]

"I think she was a Jedi, she seemed cool," Liua said.

[Xanna Teevou]

"Perhaps, but then were these Jedi fighting Jedi? It is possible I suppose. 'Jedi don't leave our own behind'. These are important words Liua." She gestured for her friend to follow and began walking to the next part of the ship. "Perhaps there is more of this story for us to find?"

She listened for clashing lightsabers as they went.

[Dapper Dog]

"Well yeah, Jays for life, you don't leave someone behind," she agreed as they meandered through the dark recesses.

"Also Jedi fighting Jedi, is that a thing?"

[Xanna Teevou]

"It can happen, unintentionally. We left Valus behind because we thought he was dead." At least she had been able to fix that, years later.

"Jedi fighting Jedi is rare, although it has happened. I think it is more common when Sith are involved. Perhaps this was Jedi fighting Sith?"

[Dapper Dog]

"The bad Jedi, got it," she said as they walked. "Sith seem like the worst, like the Inquisitor sleemo."

Another wispy vision.


Durasay did not allow the display of raw power shake him. Remaining cool in the presence of such power was his specialty. The tall Pantoran stood ready. Yet he could feel his anger when Zash mentioned Lelia. The young sensitive was so talented, with so much potential.

Extinguished from the Galaxy too soon.

A waste.

He buried that anger, channeling it to zeal and justice in his cause.

"Parlor tricks won't frighten us, Darth." He spoke calmly through his helmet, hoping his words were help bolster his allies.

[Xanna Teevou]

"Yes, although even the Inquisitors are not truly Sith. This is what Master Oraka says anyway." She was about to say something more when the next vision appeared.

"I...why do I know that voice?" She paused and tried to associate the tall armoured form with anything she had encountered before. Again there was an echo of her family home but it was too incongruous.

"Hmm, well. This person mentions a Darth, so it is definitely an encounter between Jedi and Sith. Why are we seeing this here though?" There had not seemed to be anything unusual about the ship at all, that was why they had selected it in the first place. Was it sitting on an older wreck, or was there something else here that these scenes had imprinted on perhaps? "So we have a Darth someone. Lelia. Layne." Forget about Warrior's Heart...

[Dapper Dog]

"You know these voices?" she asked following more sounds. "Do any of these names mean anything, Xanna?"

Another wispy set of visions...


''Yes you did.'' she admitted ''Without you, without the enormity of what you did I might still be a Sith.''

With me? Ah...I see...interesting

''I admit on relying on what you tought me and I still respect your intellect. Your knowledge, however, is as wasted as it is selfish.'' she looked up at Zash on the screen a few thoughts behind her head ''I am angry, certainly, angry at you for what you cause in your wake...but you are mistaken on one thing: I don't hate you.''

She paused

''If anything have pity for you.''


"I am going to assume that means 'I surrender,'" Tethys says dryly, raising an eyebrow at Layne's rather astonishing series of strikes.

She turns to Lunda with a small smile and says, "You are strong, Lunda Mae. We all have our strengths." A glance at Layne indicates she, at least, has just demonstrated her core competency rather clearly. "You're the only one of us who wasn't frightened in the Sith temple. You're strong enough that Zash wanted you, strong enough to resist her--and you're not alone." She switches her blue-green lightsaber off again. "We're doing this together."

"Senator, can you still handle the engines? We must get to the crew as well. And what about...?" Her eyes flick toward the passage leading to the hangar.
