[Day 3 - MM] The Reserve Team

"Ah, well if we are not just talking from books or a datapad we are talking the same language. After a fashion." The Jedi archives were so boring at the time. That was simply the truth for her, however much she might wish they still existed now.

"It is good that the Resistance has such generous heroes, and suddenly I am feeling an outpouring of compassion for your poor mother." A little humour had crept into her voice. "So, now we are all just good friends. I wonder how the mission is going."

There had been no flashes of imminent doom. Or the Force was keeping those to itself today.

Weggs and Yusandr were sitting on a transport looking pensive as the moments ticket by.

A tie fighter screamed by at high speed heading for the city and they both hoped that was a good thing.

Xanna looked in the direction of the sound. "That must be the Inquisitor. The distraction worked." Now they just needed the insertion team to complete their mission and the distraction team to not all get horribly killed by the Inquisitor.

"I suppose we are then." He agreed with a nod, it seemed he had stuck out, but that happened from time to time. "As for my mother, she'd likely tell you your compassion ain't needed. She had as much fun making the rafters creek as my dad did. Think both seemed to like the idea of having a whole mess of kids"

As the subject changed he shrugged. "If things go bad like or not we won't know about it until no one comes back and we all have to scatter across the planet for safety. Still..."

He glanced to the other man. "See anything interesting Ru'ni?"

"Well other then that tie fighter?"

"It all looks so small from this far away." Ru'ni commented honestly.

"It looks like Sinnya, Verse and Mia have attracted some attention though. We won't know for sure unless they feel the need to break radio silence, for better or worse."

Feeling the stress of not knowing what was going on, and worry over the fate of Sister Viati....and confusion over the state of breasts in the galaxy, Ru'ni did the only thing he could think of.

Calming his breathing as the shamans taught him, he sat crosslegged on the floor and blocked out all distractions in a technique that might be at once both familiar and dissimilar to Xanna's experiences.

Yusandr shouted, "The forcefield is down!"

"Let's go!"

[Astin Denive]

"Time will tell I suppose." Astin replied not seeming overly concerned with matters. Though he fell silent as the man started meditating.

"Alright." Astin said as the boss lady spoke, apparently it was time to do something besides wait.

[Ru'ni Wayne]

Roused from his meditation by the sudden activity around him, Ru'ni rolled his eyes.

Of course it happens now, he thought to himself as he strung his bow before rising to his feet.

"What's the plan then Yusandr?"

[Xanna Teevou]

Grabbing her gear Xanna was as ready as she was going to be. She looked at the others and got ready to follow Yusandr's lead. "We have prisoners to free."

"May the force be with us."

[Dapper Dog]

Yusandr said, “We go in hot… we secure those transports and we get the prisoners out!”

“May the Force be with us!”

Ru'ni nocked an arrow and headed out with the others, reaching out with the Force to try and find Qareme, but lacking the strength to uncover her general location.
