Shadows of Bankor

Weapons are a fact of life on frontier worlds but as Bankor has become more civilized things have transitioned in the larger urban centers especially Rygor. Weapons can be carried but anything larger than a blaster in a holster is going to draw scrutiny from Imperial or local authorities. This applies to most areas of Rygor outside of the Slums which tends to be rife with gang violence and light on security.

In other urban centers like Jaklu walking around armed is just a way of life and not really questioned though wielding restricted weapons will obviously draw scrutiny from the authorities. Being heavily armed is not illegal but it will draw attention to you and people may be leery of dealing with you as they may think you are up to no good or intend to do them harm.
