Pre-Game

Pre-game will be a bit different this game and broken out by origin which will be the entry point to the game, despite the starting circumstances you will have access to whatever starting gear you have when the game starts proper on Day 1. This will then connect to a Day 1 event tied to each origin, but it is not mandatory that you only stick with that plot line after the event you are free to do what you want as normal.

Criminals: The starting point will be the Salty Nerf a cantina in Rygor for a lucrative opportunity offered by Vandil for enterprising specialists who don’t mind breaking the law to make some creds.

Resistance: The starting point will be a transport speeder on it’s way to a work camp in the deep desert, the Resistance agents were caught up in a sweep, think Skyrim opening.

Outcasts: The starting Point will be the Righteous Moon a large transport ship bringing in travelers from off world, the accommodations are cramped and desperate. Refugees from the Clone Wars, immigrants seeking a better life, or just folks fleeing some other trouble this is where they begin.

Locals: The starting point is a busy avenue in Rygor as a gathering is forming around Imperial soldiers accosting folks as they search for dissidents, a more and more common occurrence as the Hypermatter Foundry has come online and moved into full production.

As usual there are no dice rolls during pre-game use it as a time to start getting into character and maybe connect with some players.

When Pre-Game starts there will be four mega-threads one for each origin, all role play will happen in those threads I expect them to be busy so as usual shoot a PM to your role play partner or partners if your thread is super busy. It is not mandatory to do Pre-Game but your origin will dictate your start on Day 1, even if you choose not to participate in the Pre-Game.

Consider this a chance to get your feet wet in a low stress scenario and maybe find your character's voice.
