There are two general rules for events that will be in use this game the first is that if you post to an event without content and only dice rolls it will be ignored. No excuses. It will not be counted unless there is some kind of content in the post.
Second most events will close at about 48+ Hours into the game day usually not at the end of the game day. Combat threads will not have this limitation for obvious reasons. The GM will make a post, closing rolls for the event, RP may continue but rolls are done.
This should give players more than enough time to participate in an event and also allow players to react to the results of the event on the same game day instead of the following game day.

Advantage can grant a boost die to the next roll for a player or the next player at 2 Advantage per and Threat will grant a setback die at the rate of 2 Threat per setback die for the next roll or next player.
