Dove made sure her jacket was open, to best show off her assets, as she sashayed towards the entry where there was two guys on post. "Hey..." she put on her best sultry voice, running a hand over her ponytail to mess it up a bit more.

"I was sent over for some... entertainment."

Somehow they bought the story that she was part of a birthday surprise for the chief, and there was a bit of heavy flirting, and some improper groping that was done off-screen because this was a PG-13 story (1 Strain), but she got in.

She wiped her lips and fixed her lipstick. "This is Dove. I'm in."

Vaya had shown up for the operation already covered in the mud of the battlefield, and now she and Sinnya had added another layer of more organic grime. She was deeply grateful for the respirator, although the respirator didn't help them find their way any better. Then she saw something scratched into the wall.

"Wait! Wait." She pulled out her datapad, trying to keep it above the filth. She scanned the graffiti with a handheld recorder, then looked at her screen. "This is Mandalorian script... and old. These sewers must cut through other construction dating back to the Old Republic." She glanced back at Sinnya. "You know, when the sky-devils came?" She tapped at her datapad some more. "I have a map of the old aqueduct system. Let's go."

She rubbed at her temples, feeling a migraine starting to set in. Sinnya had yet to comment on the silvery crown that Vaya had apparently decided to wear along with her other, more practical gear on this operation. She might be more willing to accept "it was a gift from a witch" as an explanation than most people Vaya encountered.

"Mandalorian stuff, huh?" Sinnya peered at the map. "So maybe we can get outta this stink, and pop up somewhere less obvious than a manhole."

Vaya's map led the pair to a spot where the old Mandalorian tunnel clearly abutted much more recent construction. One whole wall was the sandy brick from which much of modern Rygor was built, and above... Sinn tapped at a few points on the low ceiling with the muzzle of her rifle (safety on). "Aha. Lazy sleemos. They don't build like those Mandos used to, do they?" She pushed up gently, and dust sifted downward as a ceiling--no, a floor panel wiggled loose overhead. "Sounds empty up there. C'mon, I'll help you up."

"Well spotted, kid!" said Vaya, quiet and muffled through her respirator. "Here, try this, it's fun..." she passed over her ascension gun. And she's less likely than me to miss on the first try and "ascend" only to the roof of the tunnel.

Dove continued her route from the front door, closing her compact-mirror and putting it away again after she had finished fixing up her red lipstick and smoothing out her hair a little bit. Luckily, she had passed through the foundry before, back during when she still had the perk of being the Inquisitor's 'lackey', so she was able to quite confidently walk like she knew where she was going because she did.

It had, overall, been a good idea to split up so far. Multiple points of entry, also a lot less suspicious to be a big group of some suspicious looking folks.

As she was headed towards the goal-line, she nearly ran into another pair of troopers. She smoothly recovered from the surprise, blessing her luck that it was probably the newest recruits on duty her tonight since the real troopers were needed elsewhere with everything that was going on. And in her experience, it was the newbies who got the unlucky shifts... such as the night shifts. It was unfortunate, however, that they were headed towards their goal. Something that had to be corrected.

"Attention," she smoothly shifted her bag, so it looked more professional rather than slung over for convenience. Secretary Dove Gray was now on the job.

"The captain would like you and the rest of your group to report to the mess hall right away, for hot cakes and refreshements. We have a very special birthday to celebrate, so make sure those armors look absolutely shiny, troopers." Dove made sure to give them all a very warm and friendly smile.

"Glory to the Empire," she concluded her cheerful message, which did send them and most likely some others off in the direction away from their M.O.

Dove watched them go before establishing contact. "I've successfully lured off some of the troopers towards the mess hall. Should give some of you some clearer paths to the goal-line."

As Sinnya and Vaya settled in to the empty room they had accessed from below, Dove's call came over the comm.

"Lured from where?" she said, as she excitedly pulled out her datapad and called up the rough layout they'd put together beforehand.

"That's great. Jay, did you get that? Given Imperial emergency protocols..." a distant explosion rumbled through the building "... and what we know about their patrol routes, you should have a clear way in. Let me talk you through it...."

Vaya kept talking Jenna through it. This is much less scary than doing it myself, she thought, and absentmindedly wiped blood from her nose. She must have gotten more knocked around during the battle than she thought.

“Dredgen here,” he said in his deep voice over the Comm.

“We have our package, tell me you are ready to go, we won’t have much time before they realize our slice.”

"Just a second, don't leave us behind yet," she said over the comms. A code cylinder in her hand and the knowledge of the pass-code she walked up to the door into the Data center...

Just before:

Loud singing can be heard, steam fills the room, and on a high note Jenna forces the lock. Inside, an officers uniform,his code cylinder neatly tucked away in his pocket. She'd heard about them, seen them, stolen them a few times. Knew that they held both information of interest to the officer, a data storage device, and allowed access afforded to the commander. She'd been a thief for many years, stolen from the Imperials a few times, she knew the value of one of these things could range from worthless to everything, but by the unrepentant singing that disturbed her thoughts she knew that this was a man without a care in the world.

It was probably valuable.

Current...

Walking into the clean room she almost had to stop in awe of it all. The vast stores of Imperial information available here could.. she didn't take anymore time to think. With the pre-prepped storage device afforded her by the rebellion she quickly started downloading all the most pertinent files to their mission. Financial records, names, locations, everything. Things she marked, and noticed that didn't believe would benefit them much in Imperial hands she deleted from the registry.

It took her a bit of time, but it was a clean sweep and her valid access afforded the time to collect near everything useful she could imagine. Anything left behind.. simply wasn't worth it, or there was just too much.

"We're done," she said as soon as the data transfer finished. Ejecting the device from the unit and moving toward the door. Opening it she checked both ways, trying to leave as quietly as possible however didn't turn out to be exactly the way things would go down..

"Good job, all," Dove spoke into her earpiece as she found a calm place to listen to the situation. With her distraction earlier, there were no people in this sector at this moment. But it wasn't going to last forever.

Someone was going to be a very disappointed birthday-baby soon when they would discover the captain hadn't remembered their birthday, and there were no cakes or refreshments.

"Ok, I think we have a couple of minutes more before my ruse is discovered. We should all be making our way for the exit-points, and then head for the rendezvous. Dove's ready to fly."

She hoped it was the same for Vaya and Sinnya too.

[Dapper Dog]

"Little early to celebrate," Dredgen said over the comm.

"My team is going to make some noise on the way out, I got a quick errand I need to..." there is a blaster retort over the comm and then he continued, "handle."

[Jenna Karath]

"I don't like the sound of that errand," someone noticed her on the way out, but she'd already been around the corner before they took a closer look. Keeping herself ahead of them at a pace was her way through but then Dredgen's call had come in. Boots making a clacking against the hard surface of the floor as she walked quickly through the halls,"Thought your people got what you came for?"

Dove frowned, and began to move from her position. It had been a safe spot, but it was best not to linger too long. And she was starting to worry now. And she hated worrying because it meant that either something was going horribly wrong, or one of her gut-feelings were proven to be right. "What's your location, big guy? I got no strings to my location and can move easily."

And she knew the place. A little.

[Dapper Dog]

Dove hears three more blaster retorts as she finds Dredgen and his three man team finishing up the errand. Two Imperial officers, dead, along with what looked like a civilian woman. He shrugged and said, “Collateral damage.”

He blasted the wall a few times and added, “Needs to look messy.”

A woman with a snake tattoo slung a bag over her shoulder and pushed past Dove. The third member was a Chiss woman wearing mirror shades and dark armored clothing. Dredgen added to Dove, “Time to leave.”

A flash of recognition passed over her face as she finally saw Dredgen. She hadn't made the connection with just a name before, but it was there now. Black Ops. The kind of stuff most of the CIS didn't know about... much the same as her, as she too did stuff that wasn't on records anywhere. Though Dredgen's work was usually much more heavy on the civilian casualties than her own. With that in mind, she touched the side of her head briefly, seemingly to fix her hair, as she made sure her neural recorder was running.

Not that the scene in front of her disturbed her. Seeing dead bodies was as common as seeing raindrops for Dove, even civilian ones, and there was a certain look in her eyes that gave away the cold-blood underneath her exterior. The kind of look that killers had.

His two associates on the other hand were unknown to her. "Time to leave, indeed," she murmured, falling in step with the guy herself.

It was a good thing she had looked into this information before, and she knew his reputation, modus operandi, and allegiances with the new CIS [Bought Info].

"Just like the old days with the Seps," she added smoothly. Since they had run in similar circles, he might've been familiar with her as well even if she had operated on a smaller level. "Though surprised a guy with your track record encountered trouble...? Troublesome errand?"

Using the Knowledge [Underworld] to know Dredgen's connection to the new CIS, and pray that he thinks they run in the same circles still because of past allegiances to the old CIS. "You can totally trust me, we're on the same team."

[Sinnya]

“On our way out.” That was Sinnya on the comm, making for the rendezvous point along with Vaya. “Everybody in one piece up there?”

They’d meet up with the others shortly. At least she hoped they would—not knowing what the blaster fire she’d heard portended, she tried not to worry about the possibility someone on the team might be seriously hurt.

Having no idea anything with this building, or the other team, she couldn't help but filter out. When things started going haywire she moved a bit more quickly and came out of the building with a slow job, having exited from the second floor she quickly, deftly, made her way down the side of the building and to the rendezvous point.

[Dapper Dog]

He followed his team and said, “Just taking advantage of an opportunity.”

“Ten minutes. Your people better move fast.”

[Dove Gray]

"Oh?" she cast an obvious glance back at the mayhem they were leaving behind.

"An extra bonus for the boss?" Nudge nudge, wink wink, totally fellow CIS here. Dove touched her earbud. "Everyone seems to be moving, coast clear."

[Dapper Dog]

Dredgen kept walking and said, “A little rainy-day fund and some payback.”

Assuming people make themselves scarce, there is a firestorm set off inside the structure. He added into his comm not looking back, “HYDRA we are out, and the payday is on the way. Fixit we need evac.”

“The resistance gets their cut, we get ours,” he added to Dove.

[Sinnya]

“Hey, wait, that wasn’t the deal.” Sinnya trotted to catch up to Dove and Dredgen’s crew. “Your ‘cut’ is that we all get the same intel here. We didn’t sign up for your ‘payback.’”

[Dapper Dog]

The one carrying the green duffel turned and said, “We didn’t sign up to babysit the Resistance either, but that’s how it was. Don’t get your lekku in a bunch, we all get what we need.”

She tossed a data chit to Sinnya, “Savvy?”

Dredgen kept walking towards the end of the sewer line that opened to the industrial region.

Jenna was waiting outside of the sewer line, using whatever means she had to get there on time. Having exited from the other direction she waiting, keeping off comms for the sake of not blowing anyone's cover if they needed it.

Butnl her foot was a tap-tap-tap nervous tapping away as she was leaning against a building either eyes glued to the exit.

The one carrying the green duffel turned and said, “We didn’t sign up to babysit the Resistance either, but that’s how it was. Don’t get your lekku in a bunch, we all get what we need.”

Before things had gone... whatever direction things had just went, she might have presumed on the basis of their roughly-hewn friendship to put a hand on her arm. As it was, she made sure to approach in the way least likely to spook her into violence.

"Trigger, what's up with this?" she said, her voice pitched to keep it as one-on-one as possible. "A surprise bomb, when we're supposed to be working together?" She dropped her voice even lower. "Did the General sign off on this?" Bowze could play it close to the chest, but Huk's change-ups were not his style.

Dove's posture tensed slightly, assessing the situation.

"This isn't part of the plan that was agreed upon with the Resistance. There's no you get this and we get that. This is all supposed to be for the collective effort against the Empire," her voice grew harder. "That's the mission."

"Now, care to explain the deal with those dead troopers, civilian, and what you've got there?"
