When she'd been on the run, Verse had spend little time meditating. Even less time than she'd spend with her other Jedi skills, to be honest. But today definitely seemed like the sort of day that heralded a return of things. She'd already returned to Jedi heroics. Now *that* had brought back some memories, for sure...
...and then there was the lessons with their newfound communal master. She'd gotten some insight there, though she wasn't entirely sure she understood it. But it too, reminded her of how things used to be. How they *should* be. And of course, there was still more to come. Exploring that old forgotten temple on the moon, and whatever was to become of this fledgeling resistance too. The Sister might still be out there, and the other inquisitor, and whatever else the Empire might throw at them all...
...all of it was worth meditating on. But true meditation required an empty mind. To let the Force guide you not to where *you* wanted to go, what *you* wanted to see...
...but what the *Force* decided you needed to see, hear, and understand.
So that is what she did, sat down in her room, closed her eyes, and emptied her mind.

Sudden betrayal, a frantic chase. Master Alana yelling at her to go, and then... that *scream*, in the Force. Just a few minutes was all it took to take her entire life, flip it upside down. She'd have liked to take a minute to just sit right there... but she couldn't.
"Aaah!" she shouted in frustration after she couldn't take it anymore, and punched her bed. Punching the wall would've hurt, and maybe break something, so the bed it was.

"Ahem, I'm sorry!" She raised her voice as she got up and walked over to the door, "I didn't mean to bother the..."
and opened it.
"...neighbours."

"Uh... I didn't order any pizza? And what kind of pizza costs that much anyway?"
She looked confused.

"Who cares saves me a trip," the dug responded.

She blinked. "But it's your job to care, isn't it? Someone ordered that pizza because they're hungry. Actually they ordered two of them, so it's probably two people. What if it's a family who are starving? If it was you, wouldn't you want your pizza to be delivered to you?"

"I... yeah... sorry ma'am, " he said with shame. "I gotta run and deliver this food."

"Don't worry about it, so long as you learn a valuable lesson from it. You are performing an important service to people, you need to take that seriously."
