The day had been rough; first with the vision, then with the earthquake. And it still wasn't over; soon they'd head across the planet to meet with the Chaldi, and who knew what awaited them there. Or tomorrow. Or the day after? Plenty of reason to try and improve her lightsaber further, just in case.

And so that is what she did, taking it apart once more, focusing on the crystal, and changing it according to her intent.

In the end, it seemed to have been succesful.

Working on her lightsaber was strangely comforting, despite everything. And with victory in her mechanics trials, she found herself calmer for it.
