Once the way clear he knocked on the appartment's door

The Senator was alone and let him in and she was moving better with the cane, or maybe she was just learning to admit she needed it more than she liked.

''Senator, a pleasure to meet you again.'' he began with a courteous bow ''I am here to continue the conversation we started yesterday that I...needed to cut short for security reasons.''

"You did seem on edge, General," she said calmly as she found a seat.

''I don't have an assistant'' he replied swiftly, expecting that would explain the situation ''I am...dealing with that girl for the moment. We have come to an understanding.''

"I figured that out myself, is she a danger to you... or me for that matter," she said calmly.

''I am not sure...she likes to keep things vague...but if she moves against us she'll get me first. So at least you'll have a head up.''

A grim warning indeed

He moved to find a seat for himself

''How are you today? feeling better?''

"I met with the local Resistance they were an interesting motley," she said honestly. "Earnest."

"I am grateful for them rescuing me though."

He raised an eyebrow in surprise then brougth them back down...and looked a little insulted

''I was not informed of any such reunion. A shame''

The ingrates

''But if you are planning to help the insurgency then I may have good news for your to convey for the next meeting.''

"I am sure they can use any help they can get," she said pleasantly.

''My group and I have currently taken hold of a forgotten CIS listening post here on Bankor and are gathering ressources to put it back into working order. That should include a small battle droid force that will need to be reprogrammed before any field deployment.'' he began

''I also contacted a man by the name of Dredgen Huk, a former CIS special agent. He and his team will joinme at the outpost and we will 'improve' the living conditions''

“I see, that is an accomplishment but what do you want me to convey to the Resistance that you have a base and some people?” she asked.

''We want to fight as well'' he said ''I doubt we will work well with them but we can certainly cooperate.''

“That was the meeting, apparently there is an alliance of Resistance movements across the galaxy trying to come together. There was a man there trying to advocate they join this growing alliance. I gave my support to it as well, Senator Organa had expressed an interest to me before I got locked up,” she admitted.

“This isn’t a fight one can win alone.”

''That much is true'' he said, delving in his mind ''Yet is is a paradox. We will both need trust and a great degree of autonomy...Allied but separate...asymetrical warfare is ever the odd thing.''

He scratched his nose

''We are also preparing a strike against the hypermatter foundry''

"Trying to go big already?" she asked.

''We will see'' he steepled his fingers ''We have the maps of the original facility as it was formaly CIS and we are looking for a way in. I was thinking sabotage...recon...''

he paused

''I am not one to overplay my hand''

"Well I am not a military tactician so I won't comment," she said honestly.

"Want me to relay this plan to the Resistance so we don't have you both working at cross ends?"

''If they have plans for the place then it is easier to cooperate.''

''A two-pronged tactical operation could be a valid option''

"I can get the details to the right people," she said honestly.

''Wonderful.'' he replied with a smile ''I'll likely be occupied in the next few days gathering the ressources to put my assets back online but I wanted to inquire if you had found a new location for your person.''
