Fighting Vader is not a recipe for success. That's my advice.

I am potentially interested. I have one really great roll (Mechanics), one good roll (Computers), and a decent roll (Athletics) for the skills presented. Lightsaber is good. Everything else is 2g.
Others should go if they have better approaches and/or more IC motivation.

I guess as much. But it may become an inevitability at some point?
DP spending will be treated as if in combat time?

Indeed.

I'm already in the space combat, but if needed, and if viable, I'm willing.
Discipline 1g 2y
Athletics 2g 1y 1f (Enhance)
Coordination 2g 1y 1f (Enhance)
Perception 1g 1y
Lightsaber 1g 2y
Stealth 3g

I'm still injured (though that might be fixeable with some Juri time
), and my skills aren't great; but if you guys need me and no one better joins in, I could jump in:
Athletics: 1eP+3eA
Computer: 2eA
Coordination: 1eP+2eA
Leadership: 2eA
Mechanics: 1eP+2eA
Perception/Skullduggery: 1eA
Stealth: 3eA
And of course Lightsabers.

Stealth: ggg

Perception: gg
Lightsabre: yyggg

If my read is correct, you won't be rolling Lightsaber. You just declare "I use my lightsaber" and get two points.
I... don't know if I have the guts for this OOC. I'll admit to that. But I'll keep an eye on things.

You only would roll Lightsaber if you are attacking Vader.

I have no bone in this fight at all, but if it's a matter of filling up on bodies, then Dove is willing to take one for the team.
I would rather see the spot go to those who really want it though.

Again no actual stake in this other than to protect Bankor!!!!!
That said, 1 good roll, 3 average rolls, everything else is 2g.
There are better qualified folks out there but if we're on a time limit and we need bodies then the Reporter can risk all for Bankor.

If Verse and Verras are looking at doing it, we might have a full crew, since Daunt and Qareme are all in on it.

Astin has no real stake in this, and I prefer people interested fill it first. That said he is rolling three dice on all but two of the rolls
Its likely he will take the wounds off the resilience check though. On the plus side he is immune to one Vader fear?

I would join if needed but my skills in that set are relatively weak except for Leadership.
It looks like there are four folk keen to join though, and if the four have lightsabers then the first Objective is automatically successful

Watch out for that Fear roll!!!
My rule of always Voiding Fear in L5R translates to always Destiny flipping Fear here!

So for rolls:
Athletics 2eA+1eP
Perception/skullduggery 3eA
Coordination 1eA+1eP
I also have a force power roll I can do 2eA+2eP+2eF
Have a saber also.
I'm also going to be the first one breaking off to fight vader most likely, like a good Jedi

The thing is how we stage them. They get harder, and I believe we can't repeat them until we run through all? I have 3 decent pools, should I start with the best or good enough?

The difficulty for the First and Second Objective is Average and the difficulty for the Third and Fourth is Hard.
Honestly we want to get through the objectives as quick as possible. We need to do at least 3 objectives for points, and 4 to live, so you're only doing 4 rolls total. Pick your 4 best, or if you're not confident your 3 best and saber roll.

The same player cannot reuse the same skill, but other players may reuse the same skill.
Player A uses Mechanics. Player A cannot use Mechanics now.
Player B may still use Mechanics.

Start with your best, UNLESS it's overkill, because you can't go over. If you're at 6/8 points, just have someone lightsaber it, and then use your good rolls on the next one.
If your rolls get too difficult, probably just best to switch to sabers.

Petrus has a point. If your first roll could put a huge dent in the objective or even clear it that would be ideal to get ahead
