The Five Years After…
The Empire
With the incidents across the outer rim the Empire is forced to reassess their situation and this is followed up by resolutions by Senators that restrict some of the more extreme military actions. These rebellions are rebranded as incidents, Bankor Incident, both to downplay the fact they are supporting dissent and to better attack the more militant policies of the Empire and the Emperor.
This is a minor setback at best as they fully expect that Palpatine is consolidating power to either bypass or disband the senatorial body; for now, they take whatever win they can get. Within a couple of years, the Empire returns to Bankor but limit their activities to the Foundry while security and military support is done by the local forces led by Commander Jin Serasai.
The Empire also vastly expands their Navy to better handle these far flung incidents and starts to crack down on pirates, rebellion groups in space, and any rogue elements to assert their power. Lord Vader redoubles his efforts to hunt down the remaining Jedi criminals and also leads a self-imposed purge of the Inquisitorius ranks to make sure only the most loyal remain.
The Resistance
The Bankor Resistance becomes a model for other groups across Imperial space, many of the members being known as heroes and afford a great deal of respect. But within a few months many of the members return to their lives on Bankor and only the most diehard continue the fight off world, including Yusandr who takes it upon herself to find key locations to setup central hubs and is glad to not be leading anything and getting more field work.
The CIS gains a reputation of being a Radical extremist group after the actions of Dredgen Huk on behalf of their leadership is exposed to the wider Resistance. This strains relations with the Bankor Resistance but draws in a more extreme element to the CIS looking to make a difference the rules be damned. They are still seen as heroes but also seen as outside the mainstream movement.
This newfound Alliance is still without a true name and is informal at best but more and more members are starting to work together across different worlds and the vast network has need of some centralization which sparks the need for amore permanent base of operations for the movement.
The Jedi and the Force
The Jedi of Bankor over the next few years show that they will not be cowed and with many new Jedi Knights christened including Zerras Blume, Rannek Nire, and Drascovina Malvik, they go back out into the galaxy to bring hope and find others to join the good fight, Jedi Master Surro is able to accompany them via holocron devices to provide guidance and also allow them entrance back to the Sixth Line Temple.
The Temple becomes a sanctuary to be protected, that becomes the role that Valus, Tirali, and Guardian Malvik take upon themselves, while Neela continues her work with the Aznuri learning their ways and earning some of their trust despite her actions in the past.
Meanwhile the Dathormiri Witches slowly rebuild in the Sky Tree Sea guided by the young Juri, what they will be remains to be seen but there is hope for the decimated order. Still the specter of the Inquisitors and the Empire is a threat to all who know and feel the Force.
The Underworld
Vandil consolidates power and becomes the de facto lead for the Crimson Dawn, the Hutts respond but her position is strong and entrenched as she gains the support of the Wall and other elements. It is a violent few years but the Hutts cut their losses and focus elsewhere for the time being s profits talk and the lack of a profitable future becomes clear.
Despite her growth in power the slums start to turn around as more people try to make a difference and help each other. The soup kitchen becomes a neighborhood bakery and café and the surrounding business and buildings start to turn around, the slums become less slum like with each passing day.
Other Stories
Sister Hulia establishes a new enclave in Jaklu away from the city, many of the refugees of the old enclave coming to join her.
Admiral Yulani escaped with the Dictator an although the loss is a major blow, she redoubles her efforts to rebuild and expand the Naval fleets and has become a scourge of resistance and pirate forces across the galaxy.
Sister Viati settles into her life with Ru’ni and gives birth toa healthy child strong in the Force.
Veras Hin leaves Bankor for the greater alliance and establishes herself as an ace pilot behind the controls of her modified Jedi starfighter.
Weggs stays on Bankor, she just can’t bring herself to leave her home and runs a junkyard and mechanic shop.
Delia leaves Bankor for regions unknown.
Rayne Soras never existed, or at least the alias seems to be out of use now.
Horus Fett continues to give guidance of the Mandalorians on Bankor who now keep tenuous relations with the local Aznuri.
Mother Yugba passes away in her sleep after a life of adventure and danger, Aznuri from all across the region come to her passing as a great soul returns to the Calm.
Commander Poule survives the Bankor Incident and is back out in the galaxy tracking down rebels and doing his parents proud.
Lt. Higgy Wiggs married his sweetheart and has a child now and does wonderful work patrolling around a giant super structure under construction.
