Earthquakes were a terrible thing, you didn't need to see them to know that, and while Astin could of, he wouldn't take advantage of this goes personal gain.

Instead he moved from Mynerva's into the Golden Market. There he tried to help restore power to buildings that lost it, as well as cut it off from places where it might prove dangerous. His work proved to be helpful and hopefully saved some lives.

"This way. Follow the others, single file. Young one, keep away from the building, it might not be stable."

Qareme was a calm figure as she moved through the streets of the market, guiding those who may be hurt or considering doing something they shouldn't away from the buildings. Keeping them in a single line in the middle of the street, as far away from any of the rubble or damage as possible.

"You best follow the lady." Astin said to a grungy group that made their way past him, indicating Qareme withal tip if his head.

"She'll see you to someplace safe."

There was a nod in the mans direction, as she used her walking stick to get the groups attention.

"Follow the others. Single file, careful now. Buildings may still be unstable."

She had made her way closer to the man, asking "are there any others trapped that you can see?"

"Not that I have seen, Ma'am. I have been mostly trying to stabilize the power grid in this area though." He frowned then turned to look at the damage.

"I can imagine there are though, should we have a look for em?"

"Yes. Before any more of these structures collapse" Qareme nodded to the man, turning to look at the nearest building.

"Which of these have you entered so far?"

"Just the one." He replied indicating the adjacent building with a nod of his head. "So we have a lot of options." A whole street full of them.

"Work down the street one house at a time. It is all we can do, although with haste may need to be added" Qareme turned to look towards the next house "let us begin, before these buildings start to collapse."

"Alright then." Astin replied rising from his work and dusting off his hands. "Let's start with that one." He indicated a building to his right, before setting off towards it.

"We'll want to be careful though. Don't want to become just more victims."

Qareme nodded as she walked.

"No reason to go deep inside the houses. I would assume if any are trapped we will be able to hear them as long as they are conscious. If they are not well....I have no answer to that. Check the housing structure before going in perhaps?"

"I'm not an architect, but I'm pretty sure I can spot a broken or twisted support if I see it." Astin said with a nod, mostly to himself. "You're right though, for the most part we go slow and listen."

And with that they arrived at the first of the houses.

There was another nod, the Zabrak not appearing to be very chatty one. When they reached the house, she peered in and listened.

(ooc - guess we tag DD for rolls now?)

((Ooc: This close to day shift, amd mostly for fluff stuff I wouldn't bother. Unless you think it's important. In which case, poke away.))

"Not sure I hear anything." He offered after a few moments as he peered at the building and its interior. "Too much background noise from the street. It looks safe enough though, if you want to go a bit further inside."

There was a nod, the large Zabrak stepping into the building. Carefully navigating around the rubble.

"Hello?" she called up, to see if anyone was further in. Only getting silence.

"Could be they can't hear is." Astin replied softly as he followed the taller woman inside, his every foot step cautious.

"I say we check for the living area and bedrooms, the later seems like a more likely place to be trapped though."
