Self-Care Under a Imperial Regime [Day 7, MA]

After her time out by the farmlands she came back in toward the city itself, perhaps it seemed a bold move but she was certain the false papers and documents she held in her pocket would hold up to inspection. Today, today she sought something that was perhaps reckless but was worth the risk. Entering the city she supplied her documents, and made her way through the checkpoints. Free, and clear, as far as she knew or cared, she made her way and walked through the city streets witnessing life here, as it was now.
She's walked through the slums, seen their old home but didn't go much closer than that.
Finally, however, she came to the Golden Markets. Much like she did for many mornings and strolled their streets. Looking at the wares on sale, the faces, the people. It was different here, surely, but she took her time and tried to relax her nerves. Looking for, and eventually finding, a food stall that yet remained open and serving customers.
Taking a seat she ordered the 'usual', as she had so many times before, at so many stalls that she wasn't even sure if she'd been at this one before. Of course, as usual, the cook got to prepping her meal.
