[Day 5 - LE] Hail unto Caesar

by Vandil
Vandil relaxed in the VIP area of the Salty Nerf, things were going well, just about all the pieces were either removed or about to be removed. They would soon be entering the end game and then she would be on top and Tididol would be a corpse, but one that at a time. Now she waited for her specialists.

With the call out it wasn't much of a question, she was still indebted and that meant that she needed to find a way out from underneath the thumb of the Hutt's. So, Jenna came and found herself a space among those in the room of the specialists that have come to know working for Vandil, of which she was certainly one. Yet, the comfort she felt being here never improved, certainly when Vandil was in the room.

Seems when you have a propensity for people showing up dead around you the comfort levels never really recover, but Jenna was dealing with that discomfort cause it also meant people feared you.

Jenna feared her, for sure.

Venator shows up for the meeting and tips his helmet to the ladies present and finds a spot watch the proceedings. "Even'n ladies."

Jabber arrives, messy from the busy day that he's had. Something is different, and he shelves his usual boisterous attitude.

Daunt would be there, carrying his usual demeanour of civil and calm veneer over a growling maelstrom of violence. Things were rapidly changing in the Bankor underworld, so he kept his true intentions as cowled as with his spiky head.

Vandil blew out smoke rings and said, "You do good work, Mandalorian."

"Much appreciad'd darl'n. All in a day's work." Venator replies short and sweet as he is sure that she has a lot to say.

There was a certain mood in the air, it seemed, and Jenna shifted uncomfortably at the notice of it.

Bowze was not sure if this was the right thing to do...but he might need Vandil in the future.

A puppet can be controled be the hand but the rope binds both ways

''Good evening Lady Vandil''

Vandil replied, “Lady Vandil? I guess I am moving up in the world.”

“Have a drink on me, Bowze.”

She arrived, her vehicle was dark and clean and her people opened the door for her. She was tall at 2 meters in height, a near human creature with a cold demeanor. Her clothes were functional and hid an assortment of weapons and tools in a stylish manner.

She strode through the Nerf and right into the VIP and said in a soft voice, “I hope I am not too late, Vandil.”

Vandil’s eyes went wide and then she said, “Not at all, please have a seat… thirsty, I was just about to get to business. But the night is young there is no need for the rush.”

“Continue,” she said, turning down the drink.

“Well I guess to business it is, the work on the Vrakul Trident has opened up an opportunity for us. There is an exhibit at the museum of science and history here in Rygor, it has piqued my interest but what really has me interested is what is in their collections vault. It’s a spear, primitive, priceless… and you are going to get it for me, simple yes?” she said to her gathered specialists.

''Artefact extraction...'' Bowze pondered ''Do we know what this trident looks like?''

Standing Jax had to address, "If I've learned anything in my years it's that any job that gets offered up with the phrase 'simple, yes?' attached to it isn't nearly as simple as first said."

She laughed and said, "That's cause you're good at what you do."

"It's kept me out of Imperial prisons," she said, shrugging lightly and crossing her arms, shifting her weight more fully onto her right leg than her left, "so, what's the catch then?"

“The Empire has the place under high security, so expect lots of heat if you get found. But if you do it right, it should not be a problem,” she responded.

She had a goon put down a holo-viewer and it brought up an image of the spear, it was old in design with black metal for the tip and an unfamiliar wood for the shaft. She continued, “Here it comes from a place called Moriband or something, don’t care, I want it.”

Daunt tried to recall if Moriband rang any bells. Probably not. He had witnessed developments with little reaction so far.

Bowze observed the spear

''Anything else in that vault?'' he wondered?

OOC: It sounds like a place that exists that he knows nothing about, but it's probably cool.

"Probably, also probably not easy to fence either," she said in reply.
