It had taken far too long to finally arrive at the Enclave. A long day of delays and strange people. Not that it was all bad, but it was good to finally arrive among her own people... even if they didn't always agree on everything.
She approached the Enclave, shifting her duffel.

She gets a stoic but warm welcome from many armored brothers and sisters. One of them a stocky man rose and approached and said, “Welcome sister, you have traveled far but now you are among kin. You are a stranger no more, if your enemies come they are now our enemies, this is the Way.”

"This is the Way," she echoed, voice warm. Wherever a Mandalorian went, where there were others, it was home. "I am Sacha of Clan Ordo. I've come in the course of my training to be an armorer. I will be searching to both knowledge and materials during my time here, but I will do whatever I can to support the Tribe during my time here."

“Then I should take you them, Horus of Fett is our armorer,” he said leading her to the forge where a large armored man worked. His armor was of sacred bes’kar and the heat of the forge seemed to give him strength as he worked.

He paused turning to them and said, “You bring me a foundling, Jukar? Who is this?”
Jukar responded, “Sacha of Ordo, Horus, she seeks to learn.”
Horus grunted and said, “Can she speak?”

"I can," she stated simply. "I am in the process of becoming an Armorer. I intend to begin the forging my beskar'gam."

"So then give voice to why I should allow you to use my forge, Ordo sister. I built this forge, was one of the first to claim this place and have seen many young ones come and go. So why should I allow you near these sacred flames," he said hefting a large hammer over his shoulder. One flat end was red hot from the forge.
"I know what you
intend, but give me the why."

"Education of the younger generation is The Way," they stated. There was no aggression, bravado, or nervousness, simply a statement of fact. In the back of her mind, it was a little shocking he'd suggest withholding it, but not everyone was on the same page, even on the basics of The Way. It was how it was when things were still in flux. "If you are asking why me in particular... Because I have the knowledge and skill to do so, and continuing to hone my skill here will make us stronger as a whole. Both in practical terms in the here and now and in the long run." We will need it soon enough.
"I would be honored to have the opportunity to learn from you and use your forge. If you choose not to grant me that honor... That is unfortunate, but I didn't come here expecting it. I will continue forward." Her tone was once again simple. Respectful but not obsequious.

“You have more words than the sky has stars, child of Ordo,” he said with a dark laugh.
He began hammering and finishing his work and then once pleased he put the chest piece aside and said, “This is not the first time Bankor has been home to the children of Mandalore. Did you know this?”
“You will
learn, now let me see that bantha-sticker you call a
sword, child of Ordo,” he said holding out his hand.

"I get that a lot," she commented dryly, passing the sword over hilt first.

He took it and tested the balance and said, "It is keen but not keen enough." Horus handed her a hammer and said, "This will be your first lesson."
He produced beskar'gam, an ingot worth, and placed it on the forge and
began the sacred process. He encouraged her to hammer away as he did, not with might but with precision as they began the process of applying the sacred metal to the blade. It was constant, he stoked the sacred flames, he made the adjustments and he guided her, sometimes harshly but always as was the Way.
Their blows rang late into the night and before long many of their brothers and sisters had come to watch and sing, it had been a long time since they had seen Horus work and with a new student no less, and their songs filled the night.
When finished he said, "Now this is a blade worthy of a student."
OOC: It is done.

"See that you do," he said hefting the hammer over his shoulder and added, "You have potential, child of Ordo. We shall see if I can forge you into a blade worthy of Mandalore."

She smiled under her mask as she slid the sword into its sheath and secured it once more. "I will become that no matter what," she responded with quiet confidence, though a pleased tone leaked into her voice despite herself at the compliment. It didn't need thanks as a response, only action. "Excuse me." She took a step back to leave.
It had been a long day, and despite the excitement just now, she needed sleep and make plans for tomorrow.
