Dak slinked through the shadows on his way to safety, his shoulder burned something fierce and his heart was sore from what he had seen. He stumbled through the door to the clinic run by a close friend.
"So you know how you tell me to stay out of trouble? Turns out not so good, kriff! Good at that." He said with a forced casualness as he held his injured shoulder.

In came a wounded green girl, possibly with Sister Viati in tow. Either way, she was hurt like so many others; and had tried to follow directions to the clinic as best as she was able.
"Uh, excuse me," she asked the man who had just spoken; coming in just moments after he did; "is this the clinic?"

While Verse supported Viati, Sinnya was bringing up the rear, rifle slung lightly over her shoulder so she could grab it at a moment's notice. Rescuing the peacekeeper had cost more than enough already; she wasn't going to let a stray trooper--or even some poor sleemo out looting--cause trouble now.
"This is it, yes," she confirmed as her new green friend(?) ducked inside. Sinnya took up a spot outside the door for now, leaning faux-casually against the doorframe of the witch's storefront. With the same deep defensive instincts as a wounded animal, she'd defy her own injury to move and act as normally as possible until she either landed someplace safe, or simply couldn't go on.
Verse and Viati were much bigger targets, anyway. Odds were the troopers and that Sith couldn't even pick Sinnya out of a lineup. She could curl up and lick her wounds once they were fit to escape.

Cries echoed from the clinic. The Witch-turned-Doctor seemed tired, anger and rage still simmering beneath the skin. The chiming of the bells as more entered, she emerged to the main room of the clinic.
She looked to all gathered, nodding.
"Trouble found us, Dak." She responded to him, almost deadpan. Then the others, she looked to the carried Aznuri, who she had used the Force to begin treating.
"This is only the beginning." She quietly continued, ushering the three into the back. There were only a few small cots, injured citizens taking up two of them, but st least bandaged and treated. Juri indicated to the third cot.
"This was never intended to be an emergency triage or even a hospital. I apologize for the scarcity and size of the place."

"Nothing to apologize for Juri, if anything I'm sorry to be burdening your clinic. would have gone to a hospital if it wouldnt have looked so damn suspicious to go in with blaster wounds right after what happened." He said as he stood off to the side, he didnt need a cot so he wasnt going to take one from someone who did.

"Don't apologize," she said, "You're helping many people here."
Verse then helped Sister Viati to the third cot. She seemed to be stable at least, thanks to Juri's earlier administrations, but it was best to give her some more long-term care. Once down, Verse sighed, her own injuries were catching up with her as well.
Verse has 9/17 wounds left, and 1 easy crit

"Same." Sinnya came in warily, still halfway (wo)manning the door. "I know it's not your usual thing, Ms. Saizesh, but we couldn't take her to a hospital. They'll still be looking for her. I can pay," she added, rashly. It might or might not be true, depending on how expensive Viati's care turned out to be.

She waved off the other woman, "A heavy price has already been paid." She didn't smile, walking to Viata, checking her over. Grabbing her kit, she then looked at the other three.
"Still, so much work to be done." She was quiet, somber even, as if trying to calm herself from the raging emotions. Assessing the three.
"Did many more make it out?"

"I don't know," she said, shaking her head. "There was so much happening... I haven't seen anything like it. Not since the war."

Dak shook his head his own feigned good humor slipping away to anger, exhaustion, and anguish "I led as many as I could to safety, I dont know how many made it, hell I barely made it out of there alive. That was worse than those droid purges i witnessed. Fucking imps."

Vaya was more than halfway to the clinic before she realized that's where she was going, caught up in one corner of the fractalized exodus from the Enclave. Conscious thought trickled back to her, past a ragged haze of cortisol and adrenaline and images she could forget. With it came an awareness of aches and pains, blaster grazes and bruises and scrapes and burns. The rudimentary medical knowledge developed by digging up ancient bones gave her only the most superficial knowledge of how bad it was, but trying to think through the specifics in her head was a distraction from the pain and the memories.
She had kept her ear to the ground enough to have heard of the clinic, but she'd also been savvy and lucky and stubborn enough to not feel like she needed it. Until today, I guess. The sardonic thought was a return to something like equilibrium.
The people she had drifted across the city with were only a group in the most technical sense, each alone with their private miseries. She let them file in to the clinic before her. As she came in last, she noticed Verse, the most familiar of the strangers there, and the supine form of... sister Viati? She had to push through a feeling she didn't care to identify to walk forward so she could understand more. What are you afraid you'll see? How could it be worse?

As the Balosar walked in, Juri went to work. She statted with Verse, the one who had specifically mentioned the Jedi. Then the Twi'lek, and finally Dak, as his injuries seemed the least severe.
There actually seemed to be a smile on her face as she worked, a sense of peace radiating from her as she tended to the wounds and injuries.
As she finished treating Dak's wounds, she looked to the Balosar.
"Greetings. Are you hurt?"
EE2 - Just a Flesh Wound 1.) Crit on Verse 2.) Crit on Sinnya 3.) Treating wounds on Dak (Intellect 4, Medicine 1, +1eB medkit, easy difficulty):
3#1eP+3eA+1eB+1eD 3 successes, 2 advantage 1 success, 7 advantage 2 successes, 2 advantage
Using the advantages on Verse and Sinnya to recover personal strain. Dak recovers 2 wounds and 2 strain.

"I saw that, you know that thing you did? With the green stuff," Verse said as Juri worked on her. "I'd maybe like to talk to you about that when you aren't swamped with work and everything. I mean, nothing bad or anything just... you know, curious."
As her own treatment came to a conclusion, she added a question; "Oh, that's better. Do you, do you recommend I use a stimpack to take care of the soreness?"
Vaya received a nod and a smile as she got noticed.

As Juri finished working on his wounds Dak placed a hand over hers and gave it a light squeeze "Thank you, you're doing amazing work Juri." He said softly.

"Greetings. Are you hurt?"
Vaya smiled, weak and wry, and gestured with her hand without moving her arm from hanging straight by her side. The gesture took in torn, soot-stained clothes, hair in disarray, and probably far less blood than many of the customers Juri had had that day. "Been better. How's --" she gave a phlegmy cough that tasted like smoke -- "How's sister Viati?" It was addressed as much to Verse as Juri.

"She should be fine with some rest," she looked over to Juri as if for confirmation, "I think. It was..."
She had been blabbing and blabbing and blabbing lately. But she also didn't care... the whole of Bankor might as well have known what she was now anyway, so who cared if she used certain words?
"...the Sith that came for her. They wanted to know about... things."
She could throw words like 'Sith' around now, but she wasn't going to betray the Aznuri's secret. Vaya should be able to figure it out though.

"And she's not here, if anyone asks you after you leave." Sinnya's voice was sharp-edged, suspicious of this stranger. She had no real idea how to answer the medical side of the question; being sliced up by a lightsaber had looked catastrophically bad, but the fact that Viati had made it this far, and even been conscious on and off, was surely a good sign? Or basically, what Verse said.

Vaya nodded, and shrugged, a gesture shrunk to almost nothing by scrapes and sprains. Her fatigue slowed her tongue, which gave her time to think better of several things she could say that she probably shouldn't, most of them boiling down to
Well, I told you so. She had told them, starting with when sister Hulia started sharing all about precognition and the Jedi after five minute's acquaintance. The practical fact that you didn't keep talking loudly about what the people with guns wanted to be kept quiet had once seemed clear as day to her. Lit by the burning Enclave, it looked twisted as a carnival hologram.

Her eyes and antennapalps oriented on to the speaker with more liveliness than she'd shown since coming through the door. She noticed herself becoming more aware, and her wry smile edged into a smirk at her own expense.
I must be pretty screwed up if I find not everyone being so kriffing helpful and trusting all the time refreshing. "Don't worry, kid," she said, the diminutive coming out without malice or in truth much thought (but she was a kid, hell, between her and Verse Vaya felt as old as Ruusan). "I'm damn glad she made it through," her voice became briefly rough, and, surprised at her own feelings, she pretended to cough up more smoke. "... and I know plenty about when to keep my mouth shut."

"Good. You'd better." One lekku curled itself decisively over Sinnya's shoulder and she crossed her arms for emphasis, biting the inside of her cheek so as not to wince as the motion pulled on the dressing Juri had just applied to the blaster burn on her shoulder. "Anybody can see they're after her," no point trying to hide that. "But why is business for the tribes, until somebody tells me elsewise."

As the gathered crowd all spoke, the Witch began treating all the superficial wounds. Applying ointments, antiseptics, and painkillers. She was quiet as she worked, her fingers quick and sure.

"Thank you," she said as the final bit of medical attention came to a conclusion; after which she took one of her own stimpacks to deal with the soreness, and injected herself. That should do the trick.

"Plenty of people who call this planet 'home' stayed safe inside today." Sinnya was still prickly, hovering near Sister Viati. "Some are even glad to see prime urban real estate cleared off, I'd bet. You could have been one of those, and you're not. So thanks."

Vaya remained quiet well Juri made her rounds, except for muttering an introduction and thanks. She studied the ... clinician? As she moved about, trying to figure out what seemed odd about her. It wasn't the unorthodox dress, or her technical skills, which were equally clearly good and not the result of Core style medical training. Plenty of Rim world medicals were unorthodox, even if most of them wore shoes.

Vaya glanced between Juri and Verse, and started giggling at a private joke. It was entirely inappropriate, but she was ragged had recently been administered analgesics and couldn't help herself. "Yeah, the
you know, whatever," she said, mostly to herself, and finally regained her self-control.

She looked at Sinnya thoughtfully as she spoke, then the two other women, then around at the crowded clinic and the assistant. At last her gaze fell on the unconscious Viati and remained there. "Juri," she said slowly, "Do you need another set of hands? I'm not what you'd call certified but I know my tibias from my fibulas. I've got a thing later, but I could stay for a while, and then come back."
