Juri arrived early to the clinic. She had a patient there, and it gave her quiet to work. After checking on Viati, she sat to work at her desk. Needle, thread, some bones from the rib of the theta-deer that Daunt had hunted.
Fingers worked quickly and efficiently. The bones reinforcing a corset that lined the new overcoat. Fabrics of obsidian and deep crimson, the lining and stitching passing by.
In a short amount of time, it was done. She grinned, whipping the embellished coat on, the cowl a bit more haunting and fearsome than her old jacket.
"Wonderful..." she spoke to herself.
