The Witch was there, preparing it seemed to head out. She looked at the Jawa as he walked in, and smiled soty.

"Why is it every time I see you, you look like you decided to be the star of an action holovid." She quietly spoke.

"Let's get a look at you."

"Well, then we can't have our big star all banged up." There was something playful in her bedside manner as she led the tiny gunslinger into the medical room.

Her eyes half lidded as she watched him, Juri brought out her physicians kit, tending the more serious wound. "I'm starting to think you're just getting hurt to see little ol' me." She continued, wanting to ease the residual pain, from what she saw of his personality from their last encounter.

A twinkle returns to Jabber's eyes.

"Hey, I can't complain about a pretty lady playing doctor with me. I'll tell you what, you're a sight better looking than most of what I've seen today."

She treated the superficial injuries, applying a disinfectant, sterlizer and a few bandages. Her lips pouted. "Only playing? And here I thought we had something special." She chuckled as she worked, watching the Jawa.

Jabber doesn't respond while she works. The relief isn't quite as obvious as it had been after the assault on the Anzuri, but there really wasn't too much else he would do right now.

"I'm probably going to die sooner rather than later, I'd rather have some pithy stories to remember me by. Great beauties woo'd, impossible odds faced. I mean, "barely surviving when your wingman decides to take down the building around you" doesn't sound quite as impressive as being "the Jawa whose shots ended the life of the brutal gangster, the Sand Devil".

Jabber's gaze goes wide for a moment.

"I always wanted to be one of those kind of stories. Living it is...different.

The Jawa shakes his head.

"I have credits this time. How much do I owe you?"

"Whatever you feel you owe." She spoke softly, finishing up the tending of the wound. "Jabber. Interesting times call for all beings to face a life that they may not have imagined, or even different than what they expected." She smiled at him, her slender fingers coming down around his hood, caressing it as if she were stroking his cheek.

"I think there will be stories and myths told about this time in the Galaxy. And there will be lore about the legendary gunslinger who came to town and righted wrongs, when they thought they were in it for themselves."

Leaning forwards, she gently placed a kiss atop his hood.

"And you'll even find a great romance, if you keep up this derring do. Trust yourself, and your friends."

"I don't have friends" The words come automatically, but Jabber actually seems to stop and think. "Do I? Well, kriff...I might...

The usually hyperactive Jawa reaches a hand up to pat Juri's cheek as thanks for the kiss.

"Thank you again. There is dashing about and derring do to do for this scoundrel. If you ever need a hand...well, your help hasn't been forgotten."

Jabber puts down 150 credits on the table.

"Make sure you can keep patching people up."
