Petrus' head bowed, his eyes closing. "Jenna..." He whispered. "Thank you." He couldn't remember the last time he'd been so touched by someone's words.

He turned to Jenna, smiling now, and gently shook his head. "No. You're not trying. You're doing." His lips quirked. "Believe me, we Jedi know the difference."

"If you say so, big bro," she leaned off him a bit and let gravity and her own forced imbalance bring her lightly crashing back against his shoulder with her own.

Petrus laughed as they collided, his own body rocking. "I do say so. Big bro wisdom." He pointed at his head, smirking.

He looked out over the ocean with a sigh. "This is nice... you know, I was just thinking about taking a beach vacation? I even bought a new swimsuit for it." Another sigh, this one a little more melancholy. "This wasn't exactly what I had in mind, of course."

"No," she sighed, "safe to say I didn't have any of this in mind either. Never did get so close to a beach before now.. I think," she said, glancing down at her own attire, baggy and grey, it wasn't flattering at all. "Not much of a vacation though, still.." she looked out over the waves, the sound they made against the beach being that constant draw of calm reflection, "it's nice, to be out here. Gives me time to.. think."

"Yeah?" He looked at her. "First time at a beach, huh?" He smiled. "Yeah, it is nice. Relaxing. Let yourself relax a bit, sis. Thinking is good, it it's important to make sure that you're in the right state of mind." His lips twisted. "Sorry, Jedi talking there. But really, it's important."

"I think," she said, calmly, staring out into the dark waves as they washed up against the shore. How they extended out into the ocean and became one with the night sky at some moments, and yet just a slightly different hue the next awoken by the moon above.

"I think I'm going to spend some time, like this.. a lot of time, the next few weeks. Need to.. think, I think," she said, letting out a sigh.

"I just don't feel normal, anymore. After everything.. it's like.. it's like a fear I've had for so long, was realized and my dream of being able to just get away from all of this, the dream that felt so close, is either gone or," she shrugged, "too far away to reach. Not anytime soon. I'm just afraid, all the time, any moment and every moment. I don't.. I can't just not be afraid anymore, and I.. I need to figure out how to deal with that. I think, I.. I uh.. I don't know."

"Right here now, listening to the ocean, sat here with you," she smirked, "I can think, and just.." she inhaled and let it go, "breath for a second."

Slowly, Petrus nodded. "If it helps, everything you're saying, makes a lot of sense to me. Like, a lot a lot of sense. I've spent time doing pretty much that. Don't follow my example." He made a face. "I think I went about it in about the worst way possible."

"So yeah, take your time. Breath. Think." He nudged her with his elbow. "And hey, if you need someone to talk to, that's what big brothers are for, right? I'll be here whenever you need me."

For a bit she just sat there with the thought, looking out to the ocean and stars, trying to keep calm and let the thoughts that haunted her slide away for a moment.

Like when their parents fought, bickered, made life unbearable her brother was there. Always that source of safety, the reminder that if the Karath siblings were together the world wasn't ready for the plan they could come up with, what they could do.

"Thanks," she said, resting her head on his shoulder again.

Petrus tilted his head, gently bumping the top of hers with his cheek. He didn't say anything; nothing needed to be said.

Silently, brother and sister watched the ocean, together.
