Petrus' lips quirked. "Actually, they were connected, so I don't know if I can take that much credit. But hey, Dove did teach me some things. And I did alright at keeping my head down these last few years. But thanks." He shrugged.

"I can guess at the type of advice." Petrus chuckled. "In some ways, Jedi haven't changed in thousands of years. But what exactly did she say?"

[Vaya Mer'darrow]

Vaya reached for her satchel and pulled out her datapad. "Hold on, I wrote it down... ah." She struck her best Master Surra pose and read in her best Master Surra voice.

"... you will always find some new horizon to seek and that whatever answer you seek is within...."

"... how was that? Did I capture her secondhand essence?"

[Petrus Karath]

"Sounds about right." Petrus smirked. "And hey, isn't that basically what I said? See, it's good advice." Petrus gave Vaya a nod, still smirking.

[Vaya Mer'darrow]

"Oh, that was some smooth taking-credit there. They teach you that at the Academy?" Vaya smirked back, then grew more thoughtful. "We'll see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully not a turbolaser barrage from orbit. After that?" she gave a small, lopsided shrug. "What I did find up there was leads to other places that the Empire might not have found yet. And Verse has a place she knows that... I would also like to see." She did a more generic wise-master impression. "Perhaps the journey is the destination."

"Nah." Petrus chuckled. "That's more of a Dove sorta thing."

"Really?" He asked, looking at her with raised eyebrows. "What sort of places? More temples? And also, wow." He grinned. "I swear, I've had a master say that to me before. It sounds like... about half of them, really. Good one."

Vaya nodded. "When I did grill Master Surro -- well, that part was less directly informative. More to pass the time. But when I dug through the archives up there, I found enough suggestions of all sorts of places to keep me busy. The sort of places the Empire would want to get its hands on, to seal off or pack away where no-one can see them. Verse, of all people, had another lead. The two of us might chase that down first..." she shrugged. "The two of us, and anyone else who wants to join us. You, if the Force wills it." The wryness in her voice robbed it of any expectation or obligation.
