Astin was more then happy to skip out on the meeting the resistance had that morning. He'd really never had any interest in being in charge of anything, and figured avoiding it would also avoid any incidents he might cause.

There was also the fact that despite all the ream effort it was his solid belief he still worked best on his own. That might just be the longer in him talking again though.

Setting up on one of the islands with some fishing equipment he cast out a line. Maybe he'd catch something worthwhile for dinner. Or then again maybe not.
