Here's the thing. (Day 7 Late Evening)

If Astin was a different man, he'd probably never be able to have the conversation he figured he was about to have. For better or worse though he wasn't really awkward about anything, and he told Ru'ni he'd chat with the former homicidal maniac...

It had taken a bit to find out where her cabin was and a little bit longer to arrive. Arrive he did though, with a bottle of bourbon tucked under his arm. Walking towards the door he actually did hesitate for a moment to scratch at his beard before knocking.

Luckily that moment of hesitation gives him a chance to see she is down by the beach doing essentially space yoga.

Space Yoga, that tended to make someone pretty flexible, and Astin's mind moved to a conversation he had earlier in the day with Floats. Shaking such thoughts from his head; you don't sleep with Force girls after all. He made his way over.

Reaching up a hand to scratch at the stubble on his cheek, he cleared his throat. "Excuse me Ma'am, don't wish to disturb you. Figure I'd come off as a creepy guy if I just sat here and watched you til you stopped though."

"On to the topic proper though. I came by because I had something to chat with you about, and I was wondering if I could have a moment of your time."

"You have my attention," she said coming to a stop. "How can I help you?"

She reached out and a towel flew to her hand as she wiped away some beads of sweat listening.

This would likely be a bit more awkward conversation if Astin was a bit more shy. Which might be why Ru'ni asked him in the first place.

"Well, I'm Astin and while you might not know me, I think you have at least met a friend of mine in passing. His name is Ru'ni and he was around that night you surrendered to us rebels and all."

"An Anzuri fella, likes to carry a bow around, if you remember him."

She shrugged lightly and just nodded, she had met a lot of people and most wanted her dead so it was all a blur. "Sounds familiar, and he has my apologies for what I did to him and his."

Astin nodded at that and pulled the bottle out of the crook of his arm, followed by a pair of collapsible cups. "Aye, I'm sure ya do, and you sound like you mean it."

Sitting down in the sand he cracked open the bottle and poured himself a measure, offering to do the same for the older woman. "That's where the conundrum comes in though. You see he left our rebellion here, said he couldn't support a cause when it's members would so easily forgive a woman like you. It eats at him, he feels it's a betrayal by those he trusted."

"Now he's saying he wants to meet with you at one of the sites of your atrocities. To talk is what he says." He took a sip of the liquor letting it linger in his mouth before swallowing. "Now you don't have any reason to go, especially since I'm pretty sure he intends to kill ya. I told him I'd try to get you there though. So here I am."

"Blood begets more blood but if he feels this will satisfy him then I will come," she said refraining from the drink.

"Yeah, I was kinda hoping you'd say no." Astin replied with a soft chuckle. "As you said, this whole vengeance plan at exactly good for him."

He took another sip of his drink and rolled his shoulders. "If you are going, I'd expect some kind of trap. From what I hear you're pretty fancy with that blazer sword of yours, and I'm pretty certain he's got a plan in mind to deal with that."

"I have no intention of fighting him," she responded. "If he demands it then there is no death, there is only the Force."

"Alright." Astin replied nodding mostly to himself. "Well, I suppose I can't argue with that." Though it did sound a bit crazy to him.

Finishing his drink he rose to his feet and dusted himself off. "Well, I guess that's all I really came to say ma'am."

“It is not madness that guides me, Astin, it is simply an understanding that death is not an end and that there will be another way that will reveal itself. I appreciate your honesty, may the Force be with you,” she said calmly.

"Well, yeah. There are usually a few ways out of most situations." He was still not entirely sure about this one though.

"Oh before I go, he either wants to meet you at the Anzuri enclave or the old Mandolorian place. You have a preference for a place or time I could send him." He still preferred the old Mando house, but it wasn't really up to him.

"The Aznuri Enclave will suffice," she said after a moment of thought.

"Alright." Ru'ni would happy with that.

"May the force be with you then, Ma'am." He offered almost as a after thought before making his way off bottle in hand.
