Bowze looked at the horizon, Sun slowly going to hide until the morrow. Things had been going very bad...despite their efforts and cooperation some in the resistance were adamant about the CIS being bad guys. It was not just doubt...it was outright hostility.

He hoped he could talk with a least one person who could understand him.

The Senator was taking a brief moment for herself to watch the crashing waves. There would be an end one way or another in only a few hours.

''Senator'' came as a simple greeting from the nemoidian ''How are you?''

She leaned on her cane and said, "Tired, and you General?"

''Tired...and anxious'' he replied ''But since I am always anxious I guess I a just tired'' he let out a sigh ''Things...are not working well between the resistance and the CIS''

"I figured as much, and not surprised," she said turning to him.

''I had hoped we could have cooperated better'' he said turning to face her ''What is your opinion on this?''

“I think things worked as best as they could, sometimes not every relationship is meant to last. I have worked with plenty of people I could not stand, a short term alliance may have been the best to hope for,” she offered.

''At least we managed enought to face the enemy tonight. Hopefully we will win.'' he shook his head ''I just can't seem to understand some things.''

He frowned

''Still, I respect you and what you are trying to do. If you don't have any problem with it I would like to remain in contact.''

"I see no reason why that would be unwelcome, General," she said with a smile. "We did good work here."

"Hopefully it was enough."

Bowze seemed like he was going to say something but restrained himself. In the end he simply nodded.

''We might need to join forces again. This is only the beginning''

"We only win this fight when we all come together and that will take time but this is a big step forward," she said honestly.

He could only agree with that

''This war will be one fought in the fissures of the Empire...Rarely on open ground like the Clone War, there is too much risk in that. To that effect I will try to find and gather any Confederacy remnants. If you have any leads I would be grateful if you shared them with me...I will keep you updated on what we are doing on our side''

"I will forward anything I come across, General, you have my word," she said with a grateful tone.

''On our part I think we may find several hinding spots while we search for any lost assets, I will forward them to you if they are usable''

"Thank you, it will probably be more useful to the greater alliance, I suspect only a minority will wish to continue fighting off world," she said honestly.

''And I suspect you will be one of them?''

"I will be going where I am needed and can help," she said chuckling. "I guess I learned little from my captivity."

''A good thing too'' he replied with a grin ''Is your leg healing properly?''

"It will be fine in time," she said dismissing it. "At least I can say I have bled for the cause."

''The nurse, Juri, is quite talented. I suggest you go see her if you haven't yet.''

"She is a talented woman, in truth I prefer the cane, gives me a sense of gravitas," she mused.

He nodded ''I can see that''

He then looked at the sun and guessed the time

''I figure I should get ready''

"Be safe General, now and in the future," she said kindly.

''You as well'' he then bowed to her and left
