Rebellions are Built on Hope...

The Bankor Resistance is in a hard spot they have a place to rest but many have lost their livelihoods, their friends are are suffering or captured and they are now on the run. The base is not luxury living and needs a lot of work. The player can make two rolls through the day, they cannot be the same skill check using the following skills to help boost morale or do maintenance work around the base; Athletics, Charm, Computers, Cool, Discipline, Education, Leadership, Mechanics, Medicine, Negotiation, or Survival.

The first roll is at Average and the Second roll is at Hard. These rolls cannot be aided; every 3 advantage grants Hope point and every 3 Threat removes a Hope point, a Triumph Generates 3 Hope points and a success grants 1 Hope point. A Despair will remove 3 Hope Points. Success grants 1 point, failure grants nothing.

Please put a link in this thread to your roll so we can track the Hope points or it will not be counted.

Less than 10 Hope Points: The Resistance is nearly defunct, the base and movement falls apart and the members are scattered as they have been broken.

10 to 16 Hope Points: Hope is a barely lit Candle things are shaky but people find the will to move forward, the Empire consolidates and they will be stronger in the final session.

17 to 24 Hope Points: The candle of Hope is lit, the Resistance recovers and presses forward the base is expanded and made quite comfortable for the resistance, there might even be a Cantina? The Empire maintains the status quo and the Resistance is ready.

25 or more Hope Points: The Beacons of Hope are lit! How will you answer? The Resistance is stronger than ever the base is expanded and even discovers a lost battle ship in the depths... the Empire has made a powerful enemy this day!

Well, Mia wasn't going to work immediately. It was better to work fresh rather than. She did a lot of tidying, just as she used to back at every home she had ever been in before. It was pleasant work, and she was able set up a schedule for the rest of the base as well to follow in keeping up with simple maintenance.

Then, she realized that there was a giant boulder in the way. She pushed it a bit and realized that it might be more efficient to catapult it off in the distance. She fashioned a simple lever underneath the boulder, something that didn't make much sense but such was normal for this young blonde. With a mighty jump, she landed on the other side, catapulting the boulder out of the camp.

Mia was proud of her work, but it really could have been more efficient...

AStin spent most of the day afternoon working on getting the lights on in one of the rooms that didn't seem to be fully functioning. He wasn't vvery successful at first, but perseverance ended up helping out quite a lot in the long run. Though he was more then a little sick of being underwater after everything was said and done.

As soon as he was awake, Petrus threw himself into the efforts of getting the base together.

Unfortunately, while the machines proved too complicated for him (seriously, who put these things together?), he was at least able to put his muscle to good use. At the end of the day, he wiped his brow, satisfied with the progress that had been made.

The previous night had been tense and unsettling to everyone. Bowze had been lucky but to those who had been forced out of the only home they ever had this was like havig you own little world ending.

And the leadership was taken as well. He would not pretend to anyone that he could or should replace them but he could help fill in, if only until they come back.

And so he walked in with is new CIS uniform, to the surprise of many, and got the ear of the people.

Later that day the nemoidian volunteered to debug an old terminal linked to some unidentified system. The job was not simple: the computing systems were oudated and dangerously corroded. He was about to give up but he noticed some strange intact sub-systems...after some analysis he found out that this was linked to the drainage systems and could be reactivated to make more of the station habitable.
