Juri was with the other technical members of the resistance. Studying data, seeing how it could be applied to the situation at hand. She pursed her lips, trying to avoid the nose leed, as the neural charm rang in her mind and boosted her brain power.

Down among the crews working on Varo's sword, working to get it operation, Jenna put in her hand. When the call went out to the resistance it didn't come to her, it came to her brother, to Xanna, likely even Sloan, but with their new life on the run... where better was there to go? After some events of the day she knew what was in front of her, what she planned on doing, and to whom she was going to do it for. However, it wasn't time yet.. and she still had a call to make but even that she must wait for.

So, down with the rest of the technical members Jenna found herself in front of a computer console trying to make a sense of the systems and how she might reroute things so that their progress on getting everything operational might increase.

With a smart smirk she looked up from the console, her face illuminated by the green light of the screen, "Got it, sector A-2 should be siphoning now. Lock down in," she glances back down at the screen, "seven minutes." Another technician, one not as qualified, took her message to the work crews.

For her part, Verse was running around, carrying equipment around for people. It wasn't glamorous work, but it *was* necessary. Not very inspiring either; or all that helpful given she kept getting lost and delivering stuff to the wrong place. But at least she didn't drop anything.

"I'm sorry! I thought this was engineering? It's not? Oh. This is the kitchen? Well I'll go and deliver this elsewhere then yeah!"

"Wait, what do you mean this isn't the kitchen? Oh, OH! This is engineering, isn't it?"

Qareme spent much of the evening trying to inspire hope through her innate calmness, hoping through her people would also be able to find a calmness.

While many were still too shaken up by what happened the previous night, it seemed some were able to be helped. Even if it was only one or two, that was one or two more than the previous hour, so progress!

Daunt was not far apart from Juri, finding his way around the place while hauling crates like he was a stevedore all his life. If anyone felt he was out of place there, they could certainly ask.

"Hey sugar buns," Lyla called while leaning in the doorway.

"Don't tell me the Imperials got you too... hitched a ride with some old man and ended up out here. I was worried sick," she rushed forward and jumped into his arms when he was between crates for a savage kiss.

"Maker, you're so hot!"

Jenna crossed behind the woman who's recently launches herself on the Zabrak, wait.. did she know her? Though she didn't stare forong as they started kissing Jenna came up toward Juri.

"Hey Doc," she said, more of a term of address based on something about the way Juri carries herself than anything else, "new area is opening soon. Might give you some fresh ideas?"

She heard the commotion. She pushed it out of her mind, for now. Grateful for the distraction, she smiled at the redhead. "Yeah. I could use some." She focused entirely on Jenna, her eyes half lidded, a quirk of a smile. "I don't know if I'll get used to being called 'doc' though. This is a far cry from running a clinic."

"This is a far cry from a lot of things, out her," she quipped, "need any help? Not much of anything myself but a pair of useful hands so, trying to see what I can do around here for a while. Distract myself a bit. Seems you're a bit taxed, huh?"

There was a curious look from Qareme as the odd human jumped on the other Zabrak, but she did not question it. Just continued to help others

Daunt reciprocated the kiss earnestly, with similar savagery, lifting smaller woman into the air. Whatever concerns that would raise in light of other developments was on him, not on Lyla.

"Glad you made it, Lyla. Big city life is over for now, right? And we need other hunting grounds. Yes, my place was busted by those shits, but I'll take it back on them." He smirked. "Looks like all this hasn't doused the fire in you."

"Nope, just makes me stronger."

She hopped down from his embrace and said, "I guess we're rebels now! Being a delivery girl has prepared me well for a life of rebellion."

"Life of rebellion sounds like we're going to be blowing up big things and making bucketheads check if their buckets have sanitary uses?" He grinned.

"Not the first time I have rebelled," she admitted.

"So anyone here I should know? Hi fellow rebels we ready to kill some bad guys?" she said to those gathered. "Do we get issued killing tools? I call dibs on anything up close and personal!"

"Many hands make the load light." She replied to the red head, moving away from the display. "Outside of medicine and myths and legends, I don't exactly have a skillset that says resistance soldier." She smiled a bit, a small laugh there.

"Whatever we accomplish, it is only the beginning, and maybe we will need distractions from it. And friends along the way."

"I think you should meet Juri over there. With the others I am not friends enough to introduce them." He gestured. "I guess there are some things with cutting edge and pointy end lying around, but that's a wild guess. There has been no briefing I was a part of."

She called out, "Hey Juri, which one of you is Juri!"

Elsewhere/nearby...

After a couple of long and really weird days, Sinnya was both pleased and deeply relieved to find a handful of her labor organizer friends taking refuge at the remote rebel base. Well, former labor organizers... they were now decisively unemployed, or at least not foundry workers any longer. Sinn managed to cheer them up a bit.

Vaya had woken up from the midnight flight of the TBD to unfamiliar surroundings, and unfamiliar companions. She found the place that felt least military, and most like her previous expedition-organizing experience -- logistics. She was soon elbow-deep in trying to rationalize the bases' inventory system, based on her knowledge of archival datawork.

"Helps to just keep in motion, rest of it comes with as long as you hold your head up," she said, parroting someone from long ago. What would he have done now, in her shoes, she wondered?

There was a call from somewhere behind her but, well, the name Juri didn't quite mean anything to Jenna just yet.

There was a call from somewhere behind her but, well, the name Juri didn't quite mean anything to Jenna just yet.
At this moment, Juri was beyond grateful to have someone walking with her. She exhaled sharply, allowed a moment to compose herself, and looked to Jenna. "I'm sorry. I didn't introduce myself. I'm Juri. And I'm sprry that this is about to be... awkward." She whispered to the redhead, and about faced, as Daunt and the woman approached.

"Yes. I'm Juri. Daunt." She looked to the Zabrak, burying that twist of emotion deep inside herself. It wasn't so much that he had others. That was fine. It was the... way in which this one was being introduced. "You must be and friend of his." She extended a hand, her eyes focusing on the other woman.

“Yeah I prefer girlfriend, intimate partner from a different mother, or hunting buddy and we bang… a lot,” she joked.

“Blood orgies, you know.”

“Nice to meet you… oh we’re shaking hands, nah bring it man,” she said giving Juri a big hug. “Any friend of Daunt's is a friend of mine, any enemy of Daunt’s is probably dead because we killed them. He probably did, actually, because have you seen the muscles on him...”

“So I’m a delivery girl, and you’re a… ?”
