Halp, a Star Wars story [D6, MN]

When the transport had arrived back at the new resistance base, there might've been several wounded. Among them was Verse, who had severe burns across much of her body. Some looked like they might've been made by contact with a lightsaber. Others, looked more like she'd been hit by lightning. She stumbled around in search of whatever passed for an infirmary; with everything still being set up she had no idea where she was even going.
Honestly, she could barely even see, her head was still spinning.
(Verse has suffered 15 damage out of a health of 19, and has 3 Average Crits, they are: 48 (Headringer), 55 (Fearsom Wound), 57 (Agonizing Wound)

Floats, who was no stranger to severe burns brought on by lightning and lightsabers, was doing her best to support Verse without touching any of the lightninged bits...options were limited
"You'll be right as rain after the doctor's seen to you, wherever she is. She's good people though, fixed me up when I got stabbed and that was with a lightsaber too, so she's got experience."
Floats looks around for Juri or anyone else with a handy dandy medical armband
((Floats is at 9 of 17 wounds with no crits and just smells like an electrical fire))

"Huh?" Oh, it was the other Jedi. The new one. Or old one, she really didn't know.
"Thanks," she said, a little delirious. "You surprised me. Back there. Here too, but mostly back there."

It seemed it was her task to see to the injured. She had already posted up in the medical lab, and turned when the pair entered. Her lips pursed, looking them both over.
"Floats, just once, I'd like to see you without lightsaber injuries." And then another look to Verse. Quickly assessing, she moved to take her from Floats, and lead her to a table.
"You're safe now. We will get you taken care of, Verse." She whispered, as the mirialan was led to the table.
Medical kit already deployed, she quickly began to work.

"Well I ain't trying to pick'em up Miss Juri, and these ain't lightsaber injuries, they're from lightning.....although there may be some similarities I suppose."
She steps well back to let the doctor work, glad it wasn't her on the table
"Sorry if I surprised you Miss Verse, I'm not usually one for sneaking up on people...nor sure if I am able. But uh yeah, it's me, another Jedi! We really need a union or something, I just found out at the beach there's another 'nother one of us."

Dove kind of stumbled into the makeshift medical area as she followed Floats and Verse. She had no new injuries, so she could make sure they didn't collapse on the way, but the way she moved her shoulder betrayed an untreated wound that was flaring up.

"Thanks mom," she said as she laid down, not even realizing she was slightly delirious.
"And yes!" she shot back up again, but that just hurt so she laid back immediately after, "There's a bunch of us. Actually a lot of us now. Like, dozens. Maybe. Also, there's the... I mean that's you," she looked back at Juri, "With the green sorcery. You should be a Jedi too."
(1 crit healed, any wounds too?)

There was something in the way the Witch worked. Maybe it was just her focus, or the will of the Force, or a wellspring of knowledge, but she treated all of the Jedi's injuries with gusto.

"Well, okay I guess... so long as you're not a Sith I suppose," she said, smiling... and then slowly realizing that she was starting to feel a *lot* better. Sure, the burns were still mostly there... but everything was getting a little clearer now.
"I've been meaning to ask you about that path," she said while Juri continued her superstar-doctor work.
(for my records: all crits gone, 6/19 wounds)

"I thought Sith were like..." she paused, not sure if she should go on. "... Nevermind. I'm sure the lady doesn't need us prying."
Dove rubbed her upper arm and shoulder area, and decided to slip out of her jacket. The bare skin underneath was not looking its best. "Ugh... think you could spare a moment for me as well, nurse? Once these two crazy kids are doing alright."

"I'm something else." She patted the bandages on Verse, then leading the femme fatale to a different table. "Of course. I'm guessing this little party is going to be the high risk kind of affair." She began examining Dove, before bringing out small amount of topical medicine.
"Rather gruesome, but looks worse than it is." She quietly responded, looking to Dove's eyes. "Should be good to go."

“Nothing wrong with being different. Even if you’re a pervert there’s a place for you so long as you’re also good people.... speaking generally Miss Juri, I don’t think you’re perverted at all.”
Although Floats resolves to track the Dathomiro’s eyeline closely
“Good trumps everything else any day”

She gave a wry grin, seemingly pleased. "I'm going to try to redefine what I am, recover my tradition for this new era. There's so much that can be learned and recovered. And I'll eventually need to teach others, too." A light bandage was wrapped around the wound on Dove, before moving on to the Nautolan.
"Well, lightning or lightsaber, it should heal all the same." Juri nodded, getting right to work.

"Oof... thanks, lady." She gave the arm a few moves to test it now. "Glad to get that fixed."
She listened with interest to what Juri was saying, and it seemed to her the Jedi weren't the only ones who needed to rebuild and reinvent.
"In that case, you got a long road ahead. What do we owe for your assistance?"

Another transport arrived carrying those from the mission to the transmitter. Dak found his way to whatever they had set up as a triage or medical facility. He wasnt in that much pain but that had to do with the stimulants running through his system. He probably needed a little bit of medical attention.
He walked in looking around "Looks like I missed a hell of a party." He said surveying the injuries present.
He looked to Juri "Hey J I'm not an emergency case but wouldnt mind a little patch up when you get the chance." He looked to Dove and nodded a sort of warm relief in his eyes at seeing her ok.

"Heya Dak! You went on a different suicide mission? Busy day eh?"
Seeing his glance at Dove
"Uh, I'll leave you two folks in no relationship of any kind alone for a bit."
Awiiiink. Then Floats extricates herself to give them a little room and probably to badger Verse more about Jedi things.

Verse was still just hanging out, recovering on a cot. Still a bit out of it, but seemingly getting better by the minute...
...perfect time to badger her with Jedi stuff, one might suppose.

"Whatever you feel is proper or what you can spare. I don't do this for profit. Seems I'll be bust tending to the wounded and anyone else in this little resistance of ours." She nodded as she watched Dove flex and test. Glad to see she was able to provide aid when needed.
"It will be worthwhile to walk my path. To learn the lessons of the past to emerge something more."

Everyone came for their battle scars.
Djanik came for his own reasons.
The plague was reaching the stage where it was getting dangerous for him to be free any longer.
Entering the room, he was buttoned up, from his neck to his boots, trying to cover the foul corruption that was creeping through his body. Sweat was beading on his skin, and as he entered, he was surprised to see so many present.
Giving them all a nod of greeting, he approached Juri and asked, "Is there any news? I'm starting to feel it impacting my judgment - so I hope you've found something."
A bead of moisture rolled down the back of his neck, tingling as it passed the burning veins, stinging like welts. "If not, I think my time is about up, doctor."

Dak gave floats a strange look as she made her not at all obvious implications and even less obvious exit. He shook his head and saw Djanik walk up, things had been heated between them last time they had spoken and nothing but time had been applied to mollify those emotions but he was here so there was that.
"You dont look so good Djanik, you alright." The words were stiff but not aggressive or unkind.

MN6 - Halp! A Star Wars Story - Treating Dak wounds less than half (Intellect 4, Medicine 2, +1eB Physician's Kit, Easy Difficulty):
2eP+2eA+1eB+1eD 5 successes, 2 advantage

5 wounds healed, and Dak heals 2 strain as well
Juri went to work treating Dak's injuries. The medicine went to work quickly. She smiled at the Cathar. "Good as new, Dak." And then turned to see Djanik walking in.
"I do have good news." She nodded, pulling a syringe of faintly luminescent red, a large needle. Walking closer, she injected it, watching the cure move in.
"Plenty to go around. You should be less monstrousy now."

"I've been better, Jurdak... thank you for noticing." He tried not to be too brusque, but he was reaching his limit. Perhaps it was his Pantoran physiology, but it felt like it was progressing faster for him, or perhaps everyone suffered like this, and only he was weak enough to show it.
Juri though... she was a miracle worker.
But thirteen hells, that
hurt. If the pain had been a steady burning before, now it had flared up as the cure purged the corruption from his body.
Fluff Cool check to not cry pathetically:
1eP+2eA+3eD 0 successes, 2 advantage

His attempts to hide the pain failed, biting his lip and giving a low, shaky groan as the medicine made that first, horrible pass through his body. Eventually, after what felt like hours, but could have been mere seconds, the pain began to die down to a dull ache that would likely stay with him for days. Glancing at his fingers, and the strange warm feeling now spreading through them, he realized he'd broken a fingernail on his right hand, he'd been gripping the table so tightly.
Taking a gauze, he pressed it to that hand, shaking his head.
"Talk about a bitter medicine..."
Unbuttoning his jacket he looked for a mirror, trying to see if the marks had faded... and they no longer pulsed with that sickly fever, but he had a creeping suspicion that the scars would remain.
Collecting himself, he turned to Juri, and said, simply, "I owe you my life. I can't thank you enough." His voice was a bit shaky still, but he had recovered his poise surprisingly well, and already he began to feel somewhat better.
