Ru'ni had overstayed past his intended departure time. Having spent last night in the Wily Coyote for one last time, he was headed back to the Sky Tree Sea, but without transport it was going to be a long trek in horrendous weather. So he made a stop at the supply store.
"Yes, yes," the merchant told him. "I can sell you nice cloak, waterproof, warm. All you want. But for a few credits more you can have all these other things too, rope, glow rod, spare comms…"
Ru'ni tuned out the little man's sales pitch and handed over the slightly increased price for the full survival kit as well as a few stimpacks, anticipating much pain and death to come in the next 24 hours.
"Yes, yes, you will be very pleased."
