[Day 7 - MA] The Council

Posted: Wed Feb 12, 2020 8:04 pm
by Jedi Master Surro
Master Surro had enjoyed these last few weeks of training and activity this was her purpose to grow a new generation, even if they were not Sixth Line, she was a Jedi and she was a teacher and this was her purpose. Her style differed from Oraka who [preferred mystery and self-reflection she was direct and purposeful and created schedules of instruction.

She also made sure to keep Valus focused on his redemption on connecting to the Light, she would have liked to speak more with Neela but she knew that one sought a different path to redeeming herself, all the same Oraka had allowed it and she trusted her fellow Jedi Master.

She glanced at Oraka who sat quietly considering some deep thought. Guardian Malvik arrived talking to Liua, she was glad to see the child doing well, she was much different than expected but she was who she needed to be.

OOC: Open to Jedi and Jedi trainees.

Petrus smiled fondly at Lucinia and Liua, watching them as they spoke together. Such a long way the young woman had come, since he'd first seen her spitting defiance even while being bullied by an Imperial captain.

In fact, it had been a long, strange journey for all of them. Petrus looked around at his fellows. Over the last few weeks, he'd continued to grow more self-assured and confident. Perhaps the others had been similarly affected.

As per the norm, Qareme was extremely quiet on the flight. She sat in meditation, eyes closed and posture relaxed. She replied to any that spoke with her, but otherwise seemed to keep to herself perhaps a little more than usual.

Once they arrived (although Qareme had spent quite some time here, so it almost felt like home to her) she seemed more like her normal self again, walking with the others to the meeting room and giving Master Surro a respectful bow.

Xanna had not spent as much time here as most of the others due to her focus on acting as liaison to the Resistsnce. Still she tried to get up to meet with Valus as often as time allowed, and had made good use of the surface holo-comms that were now fully operational.

Her connection to the force had deepened in the past few weeks, and Master Oraka's training had helped to hone her lightsaber skills. She had started to accept both halves of her life more readily, and felt the force was guiding them toward an important victory over the Empire.

Liua received a friendly wave. It had been wonderful to find out that her mother was alive and well. And living on the moon... They had agreed it sounded like the plot of one of Petrus' shows.

A figured in a distinctive T-visored helmet, now close-fitting grey and blue instead of the padded black and silver before. For those who didn't know her well, it might as well have been a different person from from one who had been moving around the base a week and a half before. Those who did know her well knew why she was here.

Still, she stayed quiet and back a little bit, not completely comfortable yet in the company. She'd only begun her training a few weeks ago, after all, and they all shared some things she didn't.

Verse was present, seated and letting the Force wash over her in meditation, letting it take her wherever it may. Like the others, she had grown these past few weeks. There was plenty of growing left to do; advancing in one area often meant neglecting another after all; but in this particular moment she seemed content.

Xanna watched him enter and offered a quick smile to her old friend. It was hard to think of the things that he and Neela had done, but their presence represented the hope of redemption. The realization that the darkness could be turned back.

"Hello? I... I hope I'm in the right place."

Cautiously, a young woman entered. She glanced about questioningly, but had a determined look in her eyes.

Oraka nodded having brought her here.

Verse looked up from her meditation, at the new face.

"Ooh, even *more* new people? Or old? I mean as in old acquintances not old people. You're not old. Have we met before? Sorry."

"I don't think so." she shook her head. "Maybe as younglings?"

"Oh, another Padawan? Hello there!" Xanna waved to the new face. Master Oraka had managed to find yet another of their lost brothers and sisters. "I am Xanna." She then proceeded to introduce all of the others who were present today.

Smiling, Petrus waved to the newcomer. "Hello t-" he coughed as Xanna took the words out of his mouth. "Uh, hey." He said, waving again as Xanna introduced him.

"Welcome, Zerras" the large Zabrak nodded to the new woman "I am known as Qareme. It appears the Force is bringing us all together here, how interesting."

Or worrying, with what is coming...

Qareme pushed that thought away, and continued "I am unsure if Master Hin has explained this location to you or not. If not, I can explain it to you."

"Hmm, younglings huh? Were you on Coruscant? I know *everyone* on Coruscant. Well not really, there's a lot of people there. Anyway, I'm Verse. Xanna already said that, sorry."

"Yes, please." she nodded to the zabrak. "I'd like to know more."

"And, yes. I was born on Coruscant, actually."

"Please excuse Verse, she is just excitable. You will get used to it."

Qareme paused, thinking a moment before continuing.

"This temple was created to train a group of Jedi known as the Sixth line. They are a special group, tasked to defend the Republic with Duty but would perhaps not be considered the usual training of the Jedi. They only accept Knights though, and the Sixth line has ceased to exist as far as I am aware. Master Surro would be able to explain more about if the Sixth line still have members, although Master Hin was not aware of them."

Quietly "Heya Sacha!"

Pause, cocking her head
"Wait....you're a jedi too? For real?"

"... I'm just starting, so saying that might be pushing the definition," she replied equally quietly. "I've been training with Neela, though, so... I mean, you're not wrong, either."
