Valus meditated in the rock garden.

Floats pokes her head in and then, upon not being told to leave or shot at with lightning, slowly sends the rest of her body through the portal and into the garden proper.

She tries a little way to get Valus' attention, but appears loath to disturb him while meditating.

"Yes?" he said as she got closer.

She approaches and perches on a small boulder, peering over at the former inquisitor

She leans forward and peers at him, twisting her head this way and that.

"Really truly? And you're on the straight and narrow now?"

"Hardly, I am only trying to be a better Jedi today than I was yesterday, and more importantly a better person," he said honestly.

"One moment will not change what I have done, not even a lifetime."

She continues to peer at him, the silence stretching further and further until it goes from awkward to deafening.

"Okay, I forgive you." And she extends a greasy hand.

He accepted it and said, "You do not have to forgive just because I am here, I have earned your animosity many times over, Floats."

"Still, thank you."

Valus continued, "There was an accident in battle and my allies though i died I was on my own and Order 66 made that worse and then I began to be hunted... when my Hunter finally caught me he overpowered me with ease. Lord Vader was no kind and he made me endure torture and grueling tests until I had to give in to the Dark Side to survive... it was not swift but it was thorough."

"I was driven by fear."

She takes a deep breath, crossing her arms

He held up his cybernetic arm and said, "This was my reward for completing my training. He severed my arm as a reminder of his power."
