Djanik returned to the hangar after the meeting, finishing his report for the head maintenance teams.
Sitting on the nose of his Z-95, it occurred to him that they really ought to settle on a squadron name. He'd been calling them the Republic Navy Zero Squadron, given they didn't properly exist, but that didn't cover their callsigns, and didn't always inspire... not everyone was nostalgic for the Republic like him.
Besides, what color should they paint the fighters? Leaving them fleet gray would be awfully boring.
Setting down the datapad, he cast his gaze around the hangar bay, looking for inspiration.
