This was a fun game. Even coming in so late, I enjoyed myself.

Can you give us the low-down on Zerras? Tell us more about her backstory? She seemed interesting; we just didn't get much screen time for her!

Her background isn't overly exciting. I built her fairly quickly to get in at the start of this session and had a pretty basic concept (and probably made her too young). I've fleshed it out a bit since then.

Zerras was born on Coruscant. A daughter of an inconsequential family who might have lived a life of obscurity, if not for the Jedi. She doesn't remember the initial encounter or the evaluations that followed. She barely remembers life outside of the Order. She has a few mementos and images of her parents and siblings, but they didn't have much influence on her life. The Clone Wars and the rise of the Empire have made her wonder about them, but she feels they're likely safer for her not being a part of the family.

She passed the initiate trials in the final months of the Clone Wars and was assigned to Master Dungann Wallace, an older Jedi who had spent years bringing aid and communities in need, even before the war. He was very protective of Zerras and very patient with her. Her training at the temple had focused largely on her natural physical abilities and in the ways the Force could enhance them. Dungann's lessons in medicine were completely lost on her. He did, however, teach her to be patient and attentive and showed her the importance of compassion..

The pair traveled from planet to planet, delivering supplies and providing healing in areas the war had impacted the worst. Even after Order 66, they continued this covertly for a few years. But, the Jedi hunters caught up to them. Master Wallace placed Zerras on a refugee transport and charged her with keeping it safe. She didn't see his final moments, but she felt his death.

She tried to continue his work, but Zerras didn't have the resources or the knowledge. She helped whomever she could, but that was often in exchange for food and shelter for short periods of time. The Empire felt ever present and oppressive. As horrific as the war had been, the cruelty she witnessed from Imperial forces somehow seemed worse. Zerras became frustrated that she couldn't do more to oppose them.

Even when she found resistance groups, she was limited in what she could do. A lightsaber would draw too much attention. Mostly, she served as a runner, physically delivering messages deemed too risky to transmit. That's what brought her to Bankor. She didn't expect to find so many Jedi.

I think it would've been great to have Zerras with us from the start; but alas. Having her come in at the end there was still good, though! Hope to see her return for any future installments.

She probably will. It's rare for me to switch characters and I am interested in developing her more. .

Oh, so you switched characters? Who were you playing before?

Your character sounds interesting. Its a shame I didn't interact with most PCs. Mainly due to logistics.

No. I started late. I had other commitments during the first half of the game. Dapper let me jump in for the third session.

Assuming she survives, and there's an opportunity to, Zerras will be reprised.
