Was it fun being the designated medpack?

Joke aside, I've had mixed experiences with it: Sometimes it starts a lot of great plots, sometimes it steals time from them.

Wasn't sure how Juri ended up in that balance, for you.

I'm curious if you noticed that Mia had a small crush on Juri. Mia had a thing for women with confidence, both the talent and otherwise :D

I've never played a Healer before. The balance was fairly easy to find, and joking aside, I'd do it again. I was able to focus the Witchy story I wanted, as well as get the plot of being a doctor for the resistance, which was nice.

I did. I didn't try to play Juri as overly flirtatious, but more adjusting bedside manner to who she was talking to. I appreciated that Mia did, and really was enjoying our scene at the clinic.

I really liked Juri, and wish we'd had more scenes together! Would have been interesting to discuss The Force, but we never quite got there.

Can you tell us a bit about how Juri changed over the course of the game? It seems like she's in a pretty good place now. What's next for her?

it was great! Would have been curious to see if things would go anywhere if I had stayed around. I appreciated seeing Juri as a sort of milder Nightsister.

Juri was very enjoyable to read! She was quite different from Durasay when it came to the Force, and I felt it was a very interesting take on a Nightsister in this timeline. Overall, you had a good complexity to the character and I felt I saw something new and interesting every time I read your scenes. Very well played!

Is Juri planning on staying on Bankor after the game is over? What is she looking for in forming a new coven, or is she going to start completely new traditions?

Juri was super fun, both to interact with and to watch interact with others. Your characters always seem very interesting and complex. Toward the end of the game, it seems like she's going to be as much of an anchor for Sacha in the future as she described Sacha being for her.

Did you get any major curveballs over the course of the game? And how does that affect where Juri went as a character?

I know next to nothing about the witches, so I just kind of winged it I guess I could have Wookieepedia'd it but eh. Hope it was fun.

I'd have liked to talk to all the Jedi more about the nature of the Force, but my best days for getting heavy into RP are the worst days for everyone rlse, and vice versa.

Juri conceptually didn't change much. I suppose the closest was there was a time I was gonna burn hard into Magus and pick up all those ranks of Channel Agony as quickly as possible. But between actively trying to help/heal people, and the nature that using the Dark Side a lot requires a lot of Destiny Flipping, my playstyle didn't lend itself to that.

She did flip from the one rank of Medicine being her 'cover' to... I spend a good chunk of my xp on it and really becoming this Doctor style character. Sure it helps with Heal/Harm mechanically, but I had to figure out what that meant for the character.

Next is she has to find students. The Jedi Order looks like they're trying to raise themselves back, the Coven of the Moon needs to rebuild from the burned ashes of the Nightsisters of Dathomir.

Mechanically... I gotta buy up some skill ranks. Discipline, Charm. More Lore. Then I think I can build into Magus and eventually pick up either Alchemist or Seer.

She ended up being more of what I loved about Ventress from the end of Dark Disciple. What I kind of always loved about the concept of Force Witches. There was some influence from the character aspects of the Bride in Bluebeard's Bride (the Matron, the Fatale, and the Crone).

Juri, in one way or another, has been a character I have wanted to play for a long time. A long time. While the details didn't come into play until the game, the broad strokes have been in my google docs for awhile. The Nightsister angle was one of the first "bloody little trees" to get painted in. That colored her view of the Force, which was always going to be very different than Durasay.

Juri very much was an animistic/druidic take on the Force. All about the Living Force. And with a lot of reading in the Mystic sourcebook, it made her view more alive.

She won't be staying on Bankor. She'll be heading off world to seed more pools of Ichor, create a living circulatory system of the Force, and start a new Coven.

I look forward to playing her again.

I didn't anticipate getting to know Delia, and the final moments with Riule could have played out so many ways. It easily could have been the thing that pushed her to the Dark Side, but with all her effort to save people, and the Moral Strength of Compassion, switching to try and either save Riule or never give in to darkness herself.

It created a hard line where I won't be taking any rank in Channel Agony, or the Power of Darkness talent.

It very much was! What the Witches were didn't matter.

Let the past die. Juri is looking forward to the future.

I don't know the reference if there is one but what was your inspiration for Juri?

How did the Healing Talent tree work out for you? Were you focusing on something in particular?

No particular inspiration for Juri, outside of "I want to play a Force Witch. I like the Nightsisters. Massacre was a heavy episode of the Clone Wars. What would happen to someone who survived that?"

Heal/Harm came about because Magus built off of having a high Intellect, and it keys off Intellect. I raced as quickly as I could to the Critical Injury control aspect to be able to deal with them at will (or if I needed to really hurt someone, just inflict critical injuries).

Buying up Medicine ranks is the long term plan to get to the control aspect that adds those ranks to how much I heal/harm.

Where it shined though was it kept me with a reason to stick with the resistance. There's something to be said about being the dedicated healer for the group. You will always have something to do, even when you don't join limited slot events because you would be a detriment.

I agree with Jurdak!

Loved your story and I'm sorry we didn't interact. I really expected to get wounded and come to you, or get asked about the healer in the Slums but it didn't happen and so it goes. Hope you liked the shout outs to Durasay, that was a nice hook for e so thanks again for the inspiration there 8-)

Thank you! I really enjoyed our every interaction, and should build on that next game.

Anytime for character hooks! I know we've discussed Phydolon for some potential project in the future.

I know with my schedule, and almost excluvlsively playing these games via phone, it is hard to link up with as many characters as I would have liked.
