"I have nothing to say unless I have assurances," she offered.

"What is it you want, Tirali?" Petrus asked mildly.

Master Surro followed and said, "Jedi Knights not Padawan, we only accepted full fledged Jedi into the ranks of the Sixth Line."

He looked at the AI. "There's almost no knights left." He said sadly. "No one to test us, or promote us. I know one Master, and that's it." He sighed.

[Jedi Master Surro]

"I am a Jedi Master," she responded.

[Dapper Dog]

"A place to be, and Bankor is not it," she said honestly. "I don't have any schemes, I am only using the one advantage I have to get what I want, but despite what you think, I only did what I did because I felt my people... those people needed change. Perhaps I was wrong but it is what I believed."

[Petrus Karath]

Petrus looked at her, and then looked at the Aznuri. "I mean, you've already faced your punishment, haven't you? There's not anything stopping you from going elsewhere, right?"

He spread his hands. "I don't know about here, though. What about another world? We can probably arrange that. I hear Alderaan's beautiful." And was one of the worlds looking to join this nascent rebellion.

"Ah, right," she said, quirking an eyebrow, "but then you didn't answer the other part, the question? Are you able to answer that question? Are you programmed to be able to or is it unnecessary?"

Qareme went silent as the debates raged on about Tirali, the Jedi master hologram having left to go with the wandering Jenna. Verse had also wandered off, and while there was an internal debate about whether she should follow her troublemaker companion for now she felt she needed to be here.

He spread his hands. "I don't know about here, though. What about another world? We can probably arrange that. I hear Alderaan's beautiful." And was one of the worlds looking to join this nascent rebellion.

"Why not here?"

Qareme turned to Tirali.

"She knows this place, how it activates and how it works. It is close to Bankor without being Bankor. She wishes for redemption, and this feels like the right place. The Force deemed she learn of this temple, absorb the knowledge. The Aznuri have many many secrets I would believe, yet this is the one she was guided to. The Force brought this situation together, to bring us here before Master Malvik, a child of Sith and Jedi. Perhaps it is here that Tirali can find her place, and her redemption."

Qareme stood, moving over to Tirali. Standing between her and Ru'ni.

"It is the decision of Master Malvik, however if the option was presented Tirali do you wish to remain? I am giving you the choice, I will not tell you nor order you to do anything. You have to decide your own destiny."

[Dapper Dog]

Tirali said, "I am not here to take over this Jedi temple, just live... I did what I did and such it will be till I die. I would stay."

OOC: In case it was not clear Master Surro can appear in many places at once, so there are two currently one with Jenna and one with the group.

Lucinia frowned and said, "I don't know what she did before she got here but it must have been serious but if my father could find a way to work and even love a Sith then I am sure I could do the same... I trust Master Surro, she knows herself."

"Looking for something, Verse?" she asked.

"Ah, right," she said, quirking an eyebrow, "but then you didn't answer the other part, the question? Are you able to answer that question? Are you programmed to be able to or is it unnecessary?"

"Not incapable, just a broad question, it is a temple of the Sixth Line Jedi; we train, study, and rest here. Other than that it does not actually do anything," she responded calmly.

"Does your home, do anything besides being a home? That is what this was meant to be."

Qareme stood, moving over to Tirali. Standing between her and Ru'ni.

"It is the decision of Master Malvik, however if the option was presented Tirali do you wish to remain? I am giving you the choice, I will not tell you nor order you to do anything. You have to decide your own destiny."

Master Surro said, “The activation code gives her no power, it only allows me to access the full potential of the Temple, she can’t affect me and if she were to learn anything it would be peace. I can be anywhere in this Temple at any time, I am always watching. That sounds more sinister than it is, but it is true. I am the Temple and it is me.”

“This is where we were all meant to be, the Aznuri, Jedi, and even seeker of the truth. You have your suspicion and this may be warranted, but she can do no more harm here than anywhere else, perhaps less so.”

“If you do not feel she should stay then I will respect that, but I do not Fear her, is that not the path to Hatred, to Suffering?” she finished.

[Qareme Torth]

Qareme nodded, then as Master Malvik and Master Surro spoke as well, Qareme took a step back.

"Then is it settled. You may remain here, and help us, and we in turn will help you in finding your redemption. I hope you will find it."

She looked back to the two masters, adding "I would also ask if there is more we can do to help each other. The situation on Bankor and across the galaxy is dire indeed, and the worst is yet to happen. I am no Jedi master, but I ask you to stand with us Master Malvik, Master Surro."

[Jedi Master Surro]

"We serve the Republic, no matter the iteration as long as it represents democracy and resists tyranny," Master Surro responded.

[Jenna Karath]

"Not incapable, just a broad question, it is a temple of the Sixth Line Jedi; we train, study, and rest here. Other than that it does not actually do anything," she responded calmly.

"Does your home, do anything besides being a home? That is what this was meant to be."

"My apologies, then," she said, walking off even further from the group. Apologizing to, well, it seemed an awful lot like a person but it was a machine... still. Nothing more.


"Then what does it mean when you say activate? I didn't mishear that, did I? Something about activating the facility? How do you train Sixth Line Jedi anyhow?" she kept up the querying.

[Jedi Master Surro]

"With care and respect," she responded, when she asked about training, following the woman.

"Activation just gives me access to grater power reserves and functions to make this a place one can live... well many people actually we could house a thousand beings here if needed. Comfortably. Currently I cannot accomplish that. I can do limited engagements without drawing too much power but not extended."

[Jenna Karath]

"Why then?" she asked, turning on a heel to face the projection suddenly, "does activation mean fixing something that hasn't been completed yet or a code? If it's a code, why behind a code? What purpose did they have for keeping this place un-activated all this time" she prodded.

[Jedi Master Surro]

"I do not know, perhaps for security reasons it was a tumultuous time. It's possible the facility was simply forgotten, the Sixth Line has always been highly clandestine," she responded.

"We were a secret to most Jedi, so it would not take much for such information to simply be lost."

[Qareme Torth]

"Thank you" Qareme lowered her head in thanks "I do not know if you are able to leave this place Master Surro, as you are a part of it. Perhaps you can assist with training or knowledge that would better prepare us for what is coming?"

There was a pause before she added thoughtfully "I believe we should arrange for Master Hin to come here also, as the only Jedi Master we know of that is close by other than yourself."

[Jenna Karath]

"I do not know, perhaps for security reasons it was a tumultuous time. It's possible the facility was simply forgotten, the Sixth Line has always been highly clandestine," she responded.

"We were a secret to most Jedi, so it would not take much for such information to simply be lost."

Jenna nodded along, it wasn't an entirely satisfactory answer as it left some doubt that it was the truth but it was all she was going to get from this projection.

So, she did the next best thing, and continued along on her way deeper into the facility, "So, once activated who has adminship..." she furrowed her brow for a second, "or, directorship? Directorship, who controls the facility? Does it remain you, whatever you actually are, or are there overrides?"

[Petrus Karath]

Petrus shrugged. If Tirali living here was good enough for the three-thousand year old hologram and guardian, as well as Qareme, it was good enough for him. "Well, Tirali, if the Aznuri agree, then sure, we'll guarantee you a place here." Exile to the moon, even if the moon had a really nice building on it, seemed like sufficient punishment.

He looked to Lucinia. "Lucinia, is there anything else we should see here. And... can this place really train Jedi? Train us?"

He smiled. "And, more importantly, would you like me to bring you to your daughter, or should I see if she wants to come here?"

A glance at Qareme, and Petrus nodded. "Yeah. If he's willing to come."

[Jedi Master Surro]

"That is the purpose, to train Jedi of the Sixth Line" she responded. "I cannot leave this temple."

The other image said to Jenna, "I am the final authority."

[Jenna Karath]

The other image said to Jenna, "I am the final authority."

"Can I test that?" she said suddenly, turning on her foot again and stopping, her stance rigid and sure.

[Lucinia Malvik]

"I would love to see my daughter," she responded.

[Vaya Mer'darrow]

"Then is it settled. You may remain here, and help us, and we in turn will help you in finding your redemption. I hope you will find it."

Vaya watched Qareme as she spoke, face blank. She once again felt chagrined by the woman. She had complained that everyone she spent time with made her feel a million years old, but Qareme, despite her age, was turning out to be different. She didn’t make Vaya feel younger, though. Whatever it was, it wasn’t a comfortable feeling. She nodded at the right time, to show that she had no more objections.

Conservation turned to bringing others here.

“That brings me to my next most urgent question,” she said, tapping something on her datapad without looking down. “This place is secret, but no secret is perfect. The toy,” (she avoided saying the name again) “has everything needed to bring the Empire here, if they find it. There were some rumors that smugglers had a map that I never had a chance to follow up on. But it’ll get worse if people start coming and going from here. Increased traffic might bring increased scrutiny to the moon, or someone might get careless and get tagged with a homing beacon, or,” she kept her voice level as she gave voice to her own personal nightmare, “anyone who knows how to get here, if captured, could be forced to give up the secret.” Hoping she had pulled it off, she continued, “Unless there’s some… Forceful technique that somehow makes all that irrelevant.

“So, is there anything here that Empire could do harm with here? Worse harm than destroying it or hiding it away? And do you have any way to protect this place or what’s valuable here -- evacuate, back-up and transmit, seal away?” These were all things she was thinking about when she thought this place might be a ruin, and the addition of a few beings didn’t change that part very much.

[Jedi Master Surro]

"No," she responded to Jenna.

[Jenna Karath]

"No," she responded to Jenna.

Jenna shrugged, "Alright, I won't push, won't trust either, but I won't push," she said, and then casually continued along her way.

Exploring the facility as much as she'd be allowed while the others tended to their business.
