Sinnya couldn't contain a helpless snicker. "I don't think Vaya would like that." Their erstwhile principal investigator was always going on about the value of preserving finds in situ.

"No," she shrugged, "not totally, though I suppose if we left her to the more potent finds that serve some kinda.. archaeological? I.. think Vaya said something like that once, anyway, if we left the ones that were important to her intact I'm sure we could find some basic junk around here we could scrap for a credit or a thousand. Not that I'm much of a scrapper but.. ancient temple on the moon? Still would have something valuable to someone," she said, before pausing and looking at the projection and speaking a decibel higher, "But I wouldn't do that because that would tip people off I found something."

Now Sinn was really laughing. "Vaya's not my first researcher, y'know. First one to find a lived-in relic on the moon," that pile-up of improbabilities prompted a fresh giggle. "Not the first overall, though. The ones before were all really fussy even about stuff that looked like junk to me. Besides..." she coughed. "This is still somebody's home. Even if they are awfully management-like."

Jenna smiled when she'd gotten Sinnya to laugh, was mostly to entertain herself but it was always a nice bonus to amuse someone else too. Gave that nice little warm feeling that reminded you not only you were alive, but you were there with someone. It was a nice feeling, something she'd grown slowly accustomed to having around.

"You're right, even if it doesn't seem like much of a home, up here all alone in the cold," she said, speaking somewhat metaphorically on that particular point.

"You're not clever," Master Surro responded flatly.
