The doors to the holding bay of the transport opened and standing on the other side was a menacing figure in dark armor flanked by storm troopers in similar dark armor. He spoke in a mechanical voice through his helmet, “Papers please.”

MM1 - Visa Denied! - Are You Afraid (Willpower 3, Vigilance 1, Average Difficulty, Confidence 1 to reduce by 1, 1 setback FS): 1eP+2eA+1eD+1eS 1 success, 1 advantage
MM1 - Visa Denied! - Show Me Your Papers (Intellect 4, Knowledge (Education) 0, Easy Difficulty, 1 setback FS): 4eA+1eD+1eS 3 successes, 2 advantage
passing a boost to the next roll
MM1 - Visa Denied! - Fill Out These Forms (Intellect 4, Knowledge (Core Worlds) 0, Easy Difficulty, 1 setback FS, 1 boost previous roll): 4eA+1eB+1eD+1eS 3 successes, 1 threat
The Threat is specifically from the Inquisitor FS setback die. Goes to you, DD. Have fun!
The Witch felt that Dark Presence as she held her papers in her hand, her kit strapped to her side. The worst part was the tedium.
Form a queue, get into another queue. Speak with that being, this being. Even under the watchful gaze of the Inquisitor, Juri maintained her cool.
"Papers, please." The bored customs officer looked up at her as she handed them directly. "Reason for travel?"
Her painted lips curled. "Relief to the refugees. I volunteered as medical staff aboard the Righteous Star." She replied calmly.
"Medical? Here. Fill these forms. Turn them in to the medical center at the port." He handed them to her with her papers, stamping them before they returned to her hand.
"Welcome to Bankor. Glory to the Empire." He continued almost mechanically.
"Glory to the Empire..." she responded, making sure she didn't place any sarcasm or too much enthusiasm.
Filling out the paperwork, in triplicate, under the watchful gaze of the Inquisitor was unnerving.
Outcome: success. -.7 suspicion.

Re: [Day 1 - MM] Visa Denied! (Event)
Customs? Things were tighter than she thought. Good thing she had her papers with her. Still... an inquisitor? That's what they were calling him. A rather ominous looking individual, to be sure, but almost in a distasteful sort of way. Apparently the guards noticed her wrinkling her little blue nose at him.
Day1MM, Visa Denied, roll 1 (average vigilance): 2eA+2eD+1eS 1 success, 3 threat
"Your papers."
"Right, yes. Here you go."
Elaranu knew the procedure; She grew up in a strict enough household, after all. The Imperials didn't seem to care though, since they'd gotten a bad first impression of her looking disdainfully at their boss.
Day1MM, Visa Denied, roll 2 (easy Education, +1 setback from 3 threat in Fear check): 1eP+3eA+1eD+2eS 0 successes, 3 advantage
"Hmph... these aren't standard papers. What are you bringing with you?"
"Hey~ Those are metalworking tools, I'll have you know. And you could hurt yourself," Elanaru objected as the Imperial literally dumped her tool belt out on the ground. Hurting himself was unlikely... but they were expensive. She did not like the idea of one breaking on her after all the trouble she went through for the loan...
Day1MM, Visa Denied, roll 3 (~EASY~ Deception, 1 setback from suspicion, 1 boost from roll 2): 2eA+1eB+1eD+1eS 1 failure, 2 advantage
The Imperial looked at the tools and then a nearby trooper who just shrugged, the officer turning back to Elanaru, "Don't you worry about me, worry about yourself, Pantoran. We'll need you to fill out this paperwork to claim all this... junk. And to clear up the situation with your papers."
Ela was getting kind of perturbed... perhaps she should have been worried, but it felt more like an injustice than a threat. After all, she was a law abiding citizen.
Day1MM, Visa Denied, roll 4 (easy Core Worlds, 1 setback from suspicion): 4eA+1eD+1eS 2 successes, 3 advantage
Handing the clipboard to the man, she watched him look it over with a look of distaste himself, almost mirroring her own from earlier. "Yes, well... this SEEMS to be in order I suppose. But I still think there's something wrong with you. Your speech patterns, the odd papers, your eyes... You must be sick. Yes, that's it."
Elaranu fumed, a foot tapping, "All my people's eyes are this color, I'll have you know!"
He smirked, "I've seen enough of your kind to know you're lying there, Pantoran. Guards, take this one to quarentine!"
Ela found herself getting drug off without her belongings, cursing loudly in Sy Bisti at the smirking man.

As the doors opened and Rannek walked down the ramp to see the collection of dark figures a sigh escaped his lips along with a four-letter word.
Out of the frying pan... and into the fire...
The Inquisitor's demeanor was terrifying enough but somehow he was able to swallow his fear and try to act as if nothing was the matter.
The problem of course was that his papers weren't all that convincing and his last few years around the boonies meant he had no real clue how to file the proper paperwork.
The search was sure to not go well too...
He appeared to be no threat of contagion... but he doubted that'd be enough to get him by. And he was right when he was told to go over to the side to wait for the Inquisitor.
D1 Event Fear Check: 1eA+1eP+2eD+2eS 0 successes, 4 threat, 1 Triumph
D1 Event Easy Education Sense Danger -2Setback: 2eA+1eD 0 successes, 1 advantage
D1 Event Easy Negotiation: 2eA+1eD+2eS 1 failure
D1 Event Easy Core Worlds: 2eA+1eD+2eS 1 failure, 2 advantage
D1 Event Resilience Core Worlds: 2eA+1eP+1eD+2eS 3 successes
---
Only one roll passed. Triumph used to succeed on the fear roll, but GM is gonna use the threat for something.

The first thing Sacha encountered was the wave of fear. It was a distressingly familiar sensation that washed over her as the Inquisitor came into view. One of those bad news types... like back on Concordia. It raised her hackles, instincts going into overdrive for a moment, but she took a deep breath and tried to relax. Knowing the feeling made it easier. She could handle this.
Visa Denied - Fear v Cool: 1eA+1eP+2eD+2eS 1 success, 1 threat
"Officer." The greeting was simple and not impolite as the Mandalorian handed over her papers. Everything was on the level here for her. The fear crawled on her back, but she had perfectly legitimate business here.
Visa Denied - Show Me Your Papers, Education: 4eA+1eD+2eS 2 successes, 1 advantage
The discussion about her armaments was a little more tense. She was a bounty hunter, it was perfectly normal to have armaments, but she knew the sword was odd and would draw attention. It was made in line with some of the oldest Mandalorian traditions, and resembled those of their oldest enemies.
Visa Denied - What's in the Box?, Negotiation (rerolled due to lack of boost): 2eA+1eD+2eS 1 success, 2 threat
The forms were about as straightforward as they got - what's your business, how long are you staying, etc, etc. Basic stuff.
Visa Denied - Fill out these forms, Knowledge Core Worlds: 4eA+1eD+2eS 5 successes, 1 advantage
Visa Denied - Fill out these forms setback: 1eS 1 failure
(Amended, 4 successes)
Finding her paperwork on her vaccines was more troublesome with the way things had gone during her childhood, raising some eyebrows. Great.
Visa Denied - Vaccines up to date?, Cool: 1eA+1eP+1eD+2eS 0 successes, 1 threat

Re: [Day 1 - MM] Visa Denied! (Event)
Stepping from the crowded transport, all her belongings in hand, Jiam was surprised to move directly to an inspection line overseen by what had to be an Inquisitor. She'd only heard of them talked about like monsters of legend, and until seeing one just five yards away, she would have bet they were just another piece of Imperial propaganda. She sighed deeply. Of course I get to meet one.
Even at a distance, the inquisitor's presence was unsettling. Jiam tried acting like everything was fine, and only succeeded in convincing the imperial officer before her that she was every bit the dopey country girl from Mikkia she didn't want to be. If he felt any sympathy, he didn't show it.
Jiam's luggage was always going to be a challenging conversation. Armor, hunting blaster, stash of grenades--yeah, this'll be great . Jiam cut to the chase: "I'm a hired gun. I need this stuff for work. But look, this blaster is civilian standard -- nothing modded -- and these grenades," she gestured at them but kept her hands well away. "These are glop grenades: brand new, untampered, and totally non-lethal." The stony faced Imperial blinked slowly, tapped a short note on his datapad, and then handed the Mikkian some forms without even looking up.
With some deep breaths as she completed the forms, Jiam was able to focus enough to provide the truthful--only nominally alarming--background of her life and work. Well, mostly truthful. It's nothing deceptive to answer very literally. It's only polite to spare these busy Imperials from details they surely don't want.
Exactly what happened after that was something of a blur. Jiam vaguely recalled a health screening, or at least a discussion of fitness. When the Mikkian joked that she had to be pretty fit to tote around the hardware in her bag, the imperial officer couldn't hide his quizzical reaction. Forcing out laughter that couldn't have been very convincing, she regathered her things and passed through the screening area as quickly as she could without drawing any more attention.
The imperial shook his head, mumbling something about "stupid alien hicks" as he swung toward the next unfortunate in a sea of them.
