Floats lies for a few long moment on the ground, panting heavily with her body a mess of burns and wounds. She'd done her best to beat back the Inquisitor's attack, but the villain had slowly picked her apart and she could feel her limit rapidly approaching.

"Master...please don't shoot me anymore, I'm getting that enough today."
With a groan she struggles to her feet and painfully stabs another stimpack into her side.

[Verse Aura]

Verse switched targets as she saw people clashing with the inquisitor. It had been Verse, after all, who had suggested they might be able to take him if they all focused on him. And being a Knight now, she couldn't have the likes of Padawan Liua face him while she focused on these goombas. She needed to get in there!

Flipping into his melee range, she struck him with an attack, though left herself open in the process somehow.

"Hey! Not whizz man! We meditated together and everything!"

The Elder Brother danced through the combat his dark robe fluttering as he spun and parried the myriad of strikes coming at him clashing in the hall of the Jedi. Verse now joining the fray he said, “Your invitation was so polite I just had to see this for myself," as he spun with a spin kick knocking her to the floor!

He continues the assault with a flip and slash of his weapon neatly separating her left forearm in half as he landed! He spoke calmly, “That looked, painful.”

[Verse Aura]

The loss of her forearm was certainly unpleasant; Verse screamed in a moment of pain. The thought of literally losing a part of her like that might've been enough to send anyone into the pits of despair, but the Force still flowed around her, bringing comfort and the knowledge that such pain and loss were ultimately of no consequence before the importance of what had to be done. If she hadn't already aced the Trial of Flesh earlier in the day, she would've certainly passed it now.

So, determined to carry on, her lightsaber came up again to clash against his.
