The High Inquisitor replied, "This is finally getting exciting."

His weapons parried and whirled as he assaulted Petrus with his deadly dance of crimson energy swords. He kicks off him and flips back to get some breathing room... he was actually winded!

OOC: Parry used to reduce damage to 2 wounds! Hits Petrus for 12 wounds! Maneuver to Short.

Floats readies her lightsaber though, years of Jedi teachings pointed out that Sith were best redeemed after getting cut up.

Unfortunately, it's real difficult to land a hit on the darn man as he jumps around espousing nihilism! So instead she lands a solid kick into his knee and then flurries pointy Nautolan elbows into his arm joints until his two lightsabers go flying!

Valus turned back to the Elder Brother he steeled his courage and attacked with his blue lightsaber, he could not land a telling blow but he did kick one of the lightsabers away from the man-machine of and knocked him prone!

OOC: Missed, but 1 to boost next ally, 3 to knock prone, and 3 to kick weapon to short!

Elder Brother reached deep and unleashed a powerful attack of purple lighting at several of the Jedi Knights around him! Meanwhile drawing one of his lightsabers to his hand!

OOC: Still prone, picked up lightsaber as Maneuver, used Unleash verses Floats flip Destiny to suffer 2 strain for a total of 5 pips, 2 to activate one to increase wounds by 3, one to hit Verse, One to hit Petrus for a total of 12 wounds each! They have a Threat to use.

Ignoring the pain where her left hand used to be, Verse continued the attack; letting the Force flow around her. Her fighting style seemed more like a dance now, as the Force directed her. Alas, the attack itself did not connect; but she forced him to drop his lightsaber, and furthermore, created an opening that others might hopefully take advantage of!

Lightsabering the inquisitor, DESTINY, Accurate, Custom Grip, Flow: 3eP+1eA+1eB+1eF+2eC+1eD+2eS 1 failure, 3 advantage, 1 Despair, 2 Light Side

Floats freezes in pain as the Inquisitor's lightning washes over her. But while her body spasms in agony, her mind is elsewhere. She's on a boat at sea, around her is just serenity and the force. She is calm, she is focused, she is a Jedi. Now time to use that serenity to cut a fool.

"I said NO MORE LIGHTNING!"

And she leaps forward, lightsaber leaving a blurred green trail behind as she slams it again and again into the Inquisitor, every time he tries to dodge or duck she's on him again, one with the force, if only for a moment.

Grimacing in pain, and still smoking a little, Petrus deactivated his lightsaber.

"Is everyone... okay?" He asked, panting as he breathed.

He took the few steps to the falling Inquisitor. "Who was he?" Petrus asked no one in particular. "Was he a Jedi once, too?"

Verse fell to her knees, gripping her left forearm. Or at least, where it was supposed to be. It definitely hurt like all hell, not to mention all of the other injuries she'd incurred. And how tired she was too. But she did not cry out; there was just a look of serenity on her face as she contemplated what had just happened.

"I meditated with him the other day. I... I had hoped it would... well I didn't think this would happen."

She looked up, looking toward Surro. "Are there any more ships incoming?"

Go Verse, actually using her brain for a change.

Despite the seriousness of everything that had just happened, of the situation they were still in, or perhaps because of all of that, Petrus couldn't help but laugh. She'd been knight for all of half a day... Petrus gave Verse a fond smile.

"Verse do you need a, uh..." Reddening, Petrus cleared his throat. "Here, c'mon. I'll help you if you like." And so he would, half-carrying her if she needed it.

"Unless Liua demoted you again since this morning."

"Not so that I'm aware." Petrus said blandly, putting Verse's arm around his shoulders. "But she might have."

He looked at Liua, the brave girl who'd fought against the Inquisitor with them. He smiled. "You know, she did so well, I think I might just let her demote me."

Floats smiles at her comrades, nobody dead, which was never a bad thing. But she sobers up as her gaze drifts across the body of the Elder Brother. Her lightsaber sparks and whines, making noises of its own.

Quietly "I'm sorry it had to be this way, but you got what was coming. May your spirit be at peace with the force."
She closes her eyes for a moment of quiet prayer.

Zerras let the others go ahead. She continued to look over the fallen enemies. She felt a bit dizzy, but the others were in greater need of healing.
