[Day 1 - LM] Have a Magical Seat (Closed)

[Dapper Dog]

The room was white, there was a chair, and there was a table.

[Rannek Nire]

Rannek walked over to the chair and put a hand on its back while he focused on keeping his breathing regular and controlled.

[The Inquisitor]

After about ten minutes the door slides open with the Inquisitor dragging in another traveler from the ship. He has the woman by her neck before he slams the woman into the table, then ignites his lightsaber and stabs it through the woman and the table holding it in place by the Force.

He then said calmly, “Water?”

The woman screamed in agony.

"Perhaps you are hungry?" he added in his calm mechanical voice.

[Rannek Nire]

Rannek looked on in surprise at the scene in front of him and stammered out, “Uhhh... Sure...”

[The Inquisitor]

He walked to the wall and opened a compartment that was seamless in the wall and poured water and then put it on the table next to the screaming woman. He continued, “Do you know Oraka Hin?”

[Rannek Nire]

“No...” He replied in a confused tone as he took the cup in his hand; the water rippling due to the slight shaking in his hand.

“Who are they?”

[The Inquisitor]

The crimson lightsaber shifted moving up towards the woman’s neck, perhaps a few centimeters of pain. He responded, “I am sorry, are you the Inquisitor?”

[Rannek Nire]

Rannek raised his hands in a submissive manner, “Ah! Nope. Not at all. Sorry. I haven’t heard that name before.”

[The Inquisitor]

The lightsaber stayed where it was and he asked, “Bankor is a lovely world isn’t it? I prefer Bellassa, ever been?”

[Rannek Nire]

He nodded as a feeling of terror started crawling up his spine, “It’s where I’m coming from... not a bad place... but nothing there worth staying for...”

[The Inquisitor]

“Nothing at all?” he said as the lightsaber shifted back where it came by a few centimeters of more pain for the woman.

“No one? See, I like you, Rannek. But I feel like you don’t respect me. Tsk, tsk. What does the Emperor look like, Rannek?”

[Rannek Nire]

“Nothing for me at least...” He replied.

“The Emperor? Uhh... an older gentleman with a bunch of scars from that Jedi attack thing a few years back?”

[The Inquisitor]

“Nothing for me at least...” He replied.

He reached over and grabbed the lightsaber and and extinguished the crimson blade for a relief to the woman. He then moved it to her forehead and said, “Does the Emperor look like a gutter born schutta, Rannek? This woman’s life is in your hands, so tell me is there anyone you might remember from Bellassa or am I going to assume you think the Emperor is a gutter born schutta and that will end very poorly for… what was your name?” he said to the woman.

“Riala!” she screamed in Agony.

“For Riala here, think of her children, Rannek.”

[Rannek Nire]

He looked at the woman and cursed his slowness. He hadn’t been trying to be coy... just meatheaded like always.

“Uhh... I mean... like of course not. I had this gig protecting this village from raiders and stuff when this dude came up to me and was like... ‘Yo, do you wanna like fight the Empire.’ And he was kinda intimidating and stuff so I was like, ‘Sure brah.’ But I didn’t want anything to do with that so... like I got on the first freighter outta there. Brought me here now. Dude’s name was like Feral or Ferus or something. Looked like he had a laser sword kinda like yours.”

[The Inquisitor]

“Ferus Ollin, dead now,” he said removing the lightsaber. The woman sobbed and cried, she was in agony as he continued, “Which causes a problem, don’t you agree, Riala?”

Riala cried out loudly, “Yes… yes… yes!”

“See Riala agrees with me, Ferus Ollin was a Jedi criminal, and you associated with a Jedi Criminal who wanted to as you put ‘fight the Empire’. Now I believe you Rannek, you’re a coward, you don’t have the spine to fight the Empire correct?” the Inquisitor said.

“Since you like playing Inquisitor, what would you do if you found someone who consorted with a Jedi, and remember, think of the children,” he finished.

[Rannek Nire]

“Depends on what ‘consorting’ was done... Dude talking to another dude in a bar and the ‘consorter’ leaves town to not like... consort... I’d probably let someone like that go if they promised to be helpful.” He replied.

“This lady’s kid doesn’t really need to suffer because some rando green dude is too stupid and unlucky for his own good.”

[The Inquisitor]

“You’re right her child should not suffer, I release you Riala,” he said to the woman.

She was thankful sobbing before his lightsaber ignited and he neatly cut her and the table in half. The Inquisitor continued, “Rannek, you’re a good dude, right? If you spotted any hiding Jedi criminals you would tell me right? You wouldn’t want to disappoint me like Riala, right? It’s a simple question, yes or no.”

The crimson blade glowed and popped as he waited for an answer.

[Rannek Nire]

His eyes went to the poor woman’s remains on the floor and paused for just a moment.

He turned his eyes back to the Inquisitor and nodded, “I’m a good dude man... I see something, I’ll say something.”

[The Inquisitor]

“See that you do, Riala here made the same promise, and failed me,” he said.

“You can go, Rannek,” he said extinguishing the blade. He added, “And if you see Oraka Hin?”

[Rannek Nire]

“I’ll not make the same mistake...” He replied with a solemn tone.

[The Inquisitor]

“I’ll not make the same mistake...” He replied with a solemn tone.

"You can go," the Inquisitor commanded. The door sliding open.

[Rannek Nire]

He began walking out the door when he stopped, “I don’t mean to push my luck...”

He paused for a moment, “Do you know where Riala lived?”

[The Inquisitor]

The only answer is igniting his crimson lightsaber.

[Rannek Nire]

He nodded and put the strap of his bag up higher on his shoulder.

Without turning around to look he left.
