[D9 LM] Making it official

[Jabber]

Jabber heads over to the Resistance headquarters, a small case with him. He had already sent word ahead, hoping to meet with the Senator.

[Dapper Dog]

She was busy and the whole base was busy. She gestured and said, "Jabber, what did you need?"

OOC: She's not taking the stuff back but we can play this out.

[Jabber]

"I wanted to make our intentions post operation clear before things get too hectic. I would prefer to minimize confusion in the aftermath of tonight." Jabber takes a sardonic tone. "I would hate to be accused of leaving anything out."

[Dapper Dog]

"I am listening," she said as she directed staff on a number of tasks.

[Jabber]

"After the operation tonight, we intend to evacuate the majority of our forces, leaving behind a skeleton crew. The main body of our group will be looking to establish a long term base elsewhere, preferably where manufacturing might be possible." Jabber pauses, then looks down for a moment before his head snaps back up. There seems to be tension through his body. "Finally, at this time, our intention is to suspend joint operations with the Mahon Resistance movement after the operation tonight."

[Dapper Dog]

"I would ask where but probably best I don't know. Well Lt. Jabber I wish you and the CIS the best of luck," she said kindly.

[Jabber]

Jabber nods. "If this contingent sees a change in leadership, or if you encounter another group who could use our assistance and has strategic and tactical vision that is more compatible with our own, or if you personally would need it, I think we would be more than happy to assist."

Jabber spins open the case, revealing a pile of credit chits. "Here is what you gave us, converted to raw currency. We remember, and we repay...and we would hate to have any accusations that we conned or stole from this group."

[Dapper Dog]

"We don't want it back, keep it, this isn't about repaying, this is about the galaxy," she said in reply.
