[Day 1 - EA] One art please

Touching a hand to her lips she actually giggled. "Oh dear. I suppose one can take the girl out of the palace, but..."

On Devaron I was more interested in how to keep my focus, interact with other beings, and how to hit things."

"Ah yes, the trifecta. Brings back memories." Petrus grinned. "I always liked combining them, like focusing on an interaction, or interacting with hitting." Training with Padawans was pretty much the latter.

Petrus studied her a moment, blue eyes narrowed thoughtfully. "Or take her out of the temple..." He snapped his fingers. "But you trained on Devaron? Okay. I was wondering how I'd missed passing you at least sometimes back on Coruscant. Especially with me just being a year or two older than you."

[Xanna Teevou]

Flicking her yellow eyes at him she gave Mahon a questioning look. "Is it alright with you if I move a little? Are you getting everything that you wish from this?"

She looked over towards Petey. "I was on Coruscant for seven months before Master Yoda told me my path lay elsewhere. Well, actually he told me: Elsewhere, does your path lie, El... Ah, well, you get the idea. So I was shipped out to Devaron, and I really liked it there." They were friends, but she wasn't ready for that conversation just yet.

[Mahon Jiut]

"Easy there lover boy," Mahon joked and then said, "Actually I am done."

[Petrus Karath]

Petrus grinned. "That sounds like Master Yoda alright. He really had a way with words, and I don't just mean the sentences he put together. 'Do or do not, young Petrus. Tell you again, I must.'" He sighed, smiling. It was surprisingly pleasant to remember those sort of things with someone, even if they hurt.

His sudden frown showed when he caught the slip. It got a brief curious look, but Petrus' features returned to neutral a moment later.

"Easy there lover boy," Mahon joked and then said, "Actually I am done."

Petrus coughed, his expression bland. Better let that one pass.

Xanna arched an eyebrow, but winked at Mahon when Petrus could not see. "Oh? Really?" She chewed her lip delicately. "I am not sure of the protocol. May I see this or is it rude to ask an artist such a thing?"

The impression of Yoda was on point, but she was swept up in art!

[Mahon Jiut]

"These are just reference, so it's a bunch of sketches and tests, it's gonna be a bit before I turn it into something worth seeing," he said honestly.

[Xanna Teevou]

"Ah I see, now you have your place from which to begin. Like with a pattern for clothing. Well, I am very glad that I was able to help you Mahon." She touched his shoulder meaningfully. It had been somewhat cathartic for all of them today.

[Petrus Karath]

Petrus inclined his head deeply, almost like a bow. "I was honored to be here." He said, his voice pitched low to avoid disturbing them.

[Mahon Jiut]

Mahon shrugged, "Anytime and really, think you."

He gave Xanna a 200 credit data chit.

[Xanna Teevou]

"You are very welcome Mahon. Thank you for your help today, and if you need anything else let me know. I look forward to seeing more of your work." She accepted the chip and gave him one last warm smile.

"Well, I had better go and check the damage to the kitchen. Are you coming Petrus? Liua will be looking forward to having a new being there I am sure."

Petrus winced. "I'm sorry. I'll walk you partway, but I've got a thing." He frowned, lips pressing together a moment before they quirked. "Besides, maybe I should give Liua some time to come up with some fresh burns to use on me."

He brightened. "How about I come by tomorrow? Do some dishwashing? I promise I'll get your pots and pans so clean you'll be able to see your reflection in them."

Xanna pursed her lips. "Very well, but I cannot promise that Liua will not demote you further." She was pushing hard for that whole assistant to Xanna position after all, that she herself had made up. Teenagers.

"Tomorrow then. It has been quite the epic journey already Petrus, we shall see what tomorrow brings. And you Mahon, if you would like to meet for kaff perhaps, it will be on me."

[Petrus Karath]

Petrus grinned. "Alright, great. I'm almost curious what there is below Junior Assistant Dishwasher. Double Secret Junior Assistant Dishwasher?"

Picking up his walking stick, he moved to the door.
