He shuddered a little but steeled himself and kept moving along "After this, seeing what they are willing to do, how far they will go. It doesnt matter what kind of people we are anymore. You helped save some lives tonight, that's what matters."

He seemed to relax after the drone focused on something else

''I am not how long I'll have access to this'' he admitted. ''I barely got it in time to make use of it during the attack''

"Still you got in once. I know a whole slew of folks that would really appreciate knowing how."

The TIEs screamed overhead causing Ria'la to duck reflexively.

[Bowze Coppa]

''The Hutts know how'' he replied ''That will likely cost you as it cost me.''

He adjusts his comm

''Or maybe not if I manage to keep the access''

"Yea," she did what motion of a shrug she could given the circumstance, it was awkward, felt awkward, was awkward, "and I almost got myself shot for it. Coulda been worse, coulda been much worse. Left my.. there's someone here I have to find," she didn't so much struggle as try to stand on her own two feet again. It was, tough on her and that much was clear in her expression but her drive put her firmly on two feet though she hadn't let go yet.

Dak nodded "I get that" he unslung his blaster "I wanna come with you then, it's too dangerous out there for someone to be on their own. I'd hate if something happened to you, you seem like a good person."

"Yea," she said, pushing up some of that old self in her. That Jax, the person who wasn't really afraid of the odds and was so confident she could make it out of anything. Someone who didn't have anything to lose. Keying into that emotion, that persona, "that's part of the trick," she said, but that wasn't the true trick. She needed distance, she thought, someone to know that she wasn't all that great of a person. If it was her choice, she knew, she wouldn't have been here. No, most of the good nature seemed to be given to her brother, as she saw it.

"I just gotta... find him, somehow. Short hair, brownish kinda red, looks a little lost even on the best of days sometimes? Seen someone like him?" she said, Jenna coming back up with the subconscious, almost, tease at her brother.

Dak thought for a moment "Kind of non descript dont you think? Sounds kind of average but I mean maybe? I've seen a lot of people but theres a chance hes still in the enclave, maker I hope not but it's possible, I'm a decent scout. Let's go take a look for him." He looked her up and down "Can you walk on your own?"

"Yea," she leaned off him, winced a little from the pain but she just adjusted how she stood and seemed to manage well enough. Two feet firmly on the ground, little pain didn't have to stop her. It was, after all, important. "I.. I think I've got it. He's going to look like me," she hesitated, she knew it'd help but... the distrust was still there, slightly, but still, "he's my brother."

"Sometimes the battle gets forced on you." She stayed close to her Nightbrother, looking around. "This wasn't a battle. It is a genocide."

Dak had a very serious expression "let's find him. Nothing is more important than family." Seeing she could stand on her own Dak turned and began walking back toward the enclave. His stride was determined and he glanced back to make sure she was following but he kept his eyes out for a boy that matched her description.

[Daunt]

"Sometimes the battle gets forced on you." She stayed close to her Nightbrother, looking around. "This wasn't a battle. It is a genocide."

"By this line of thinking, since you had known, you came here to get pointlessly killed. You had your hand forced? It means they played you." He let some anger out. "Are you going to let me take you out of here, or try again to make a glorious sacrifice for nothing?"

She pursed her lips. "There was nothing glorious here." She took his hand, nodding. "Help me get to my clinic. I think... I have much work to do. I will get to the hut tonight. I promise."

[Daunt]

He said nothing more, just focused on finding a way for taking her out of the encirclement and carnage.

His stride was determined and he glanced back to make sure she was following but he kept his eyes out for a boy that matched her description.

Jenna followed along behind, not quite able to keep perfect pace at first but slowly and surely she built her tolerance to the discomfort of pain. There was a burning need she felt to find her brother and so help her she would.

Jurdak moved cautiously but steadily back towards the enclave, he thought he saw a boy matching her description just making it out of the enclave toward safety with a group of Aznuri and a younger girl. He turned to Jax "Is that him Jax?" He asked pointing to the group.

He adjusts his comm

He made a face anyone even a slightly bit civilised would at mention of the crime lords of Nal Hutta.

[Xanna Teevou]

"Not the most pleasant of beings to interact with it is true." Xanna avoided them where possible, but if you needed something desperately and could stomach the cost...

"Are you both well enough to make it back on your own? I think it is time to leave." She nodded to them both. "I will be seeing you soon I hope Bowse? And if you ever need a good meal," she was looking at the man with the hair, "I run the soup kitchen in the Slums." She knew how that sounded...

[Ria'la Tu'roth]

"I need a few more shots for the report. Especially those damn TIEs. Make sure no one ever forgets what happened here today."

He issued a few orders to his droids, who continued to film.

"My thanks, I will assume you don't want to be in any shots? It'll go planetary and damn the Imps for stopping me broadcasting this further."

[Xanna Teevou]

She nodded at his determination. "That is very noble, and thank you for keeping me out of the footage. Be careful, they will come for you in they find out you are the source."

[Bowze Coppa]

"I do hope to continue my work at the soup kitchen" he said with the best smile he could at the moment

"And yes..." He said to the journalist "I would like to remain anonymous for now. Thank you for your work though." He extended a hand

He took the hand with no hesitation and shook it.

"Ria'la Tu'roth, I work for Bankor News Broadcasting."

''I cannot imagine it being a comfortable or easy job in the current political climate, you must be quite driven.''

"Well now, Bankor First and all that. You're right it isn't easy and I've lost count of how many times I've been censored now, but Bankor is worth fighting for."

''Freedom is always worth fighting for.'' he replied before looking over his shoulders

''I will take an interest in your work my friend but our time is short now.''

More TIEs screamed overhead.

"Frak! Was that a bomber? Binky tell me you got that? Please tell me it was in shot!"

The camdroid floated over, rotated to face Ria'la, slowly matched height and then just as slowly intoned . .
