[Day 3 - MM] Suicide Squad Operation

There is a blue and silver cube thingy sitting in a secure drawer that popped open from all the explosions and gunfire.

Floats dives across the room and grabs it, juggling it awkwardly with the pike-staff.
"It's either a rubiks cube or something real special, and either way I don't intend to leave here without it."

"Ok, stand back, kid, let me handle them." Dove gritted her teeth behind her cover, before letting the autofire do the trick against the rest of the troopers.

"I've no idea what it is, but grab it. Probably important."

He sees a man, looking calm and focused in the sea of chaos... he is moving away from which he is leading people.

Petrus groaned. "Hey, you there, big guy, my hair color. We're getting out of here." He frowned. "You okay? If you can fight, I've got a blaster rifle with your name on it."

Djanik switched to the resistance frequency and snapped.

"I've got some nasty traffic on Imperial communications - I tried to jam them out but couldn't stop it all. You need to get to the Transports. You need to do it NOW."

[Astin Denive]

Shooting and killing wasn't really something that Astin excelled at, though he could do it if he had to. Which seemed to be the case at the moment.

What he was really wanted to do was cause some havoc if he could though. Maybe find a way to decommission some of their vehicles to slow pursuit.

[Dapper Dog]

Djanik switched to the resistance frequency and snapped.

"I've got some nasty traffic on Imperial communications - I tried to jam them out but couldn't stop it all. You need to get to the Transports. You need to do it NOW."

“This is Jedi Liua, if you are a sleemo Imperial, get kriffed. If not we have your rides up here… so hurry your butts up! That means you Petrus! Jedis for life!” she said into the speaker system resounding through the camp.

She looked over at Djanik and asked, “So can I blow up stuff now?”

It felt as though there was something important still to do here. There didn't seem to be any sign of that Zabrak Jedi yet. Maybe if she could help Sloan to finish off these troopers she could get through and find her.

"Kid, if you shoot that fuel, all your friends out there will die."

He glanced at the controls for the smaller blaster cannon.

"If you can spot the power conduits for the defense guns and blast them... they should be unmanned, but if they aren't, I don't want any surprises on the way out."

He pointed to the hangar roof. "They look like that black and orange striped conduit up there - I saw two turrets on the way in, but there may be more. Take those out and it'll make the ride out a lot smoother!"

Then he was back to watching the front arc of the transports, watching for targets he could safely hit with the main guns.

He just pointed silently... and then fades away.

Blinking, Petrus swallowed. "Glad I didn't toss the blaster rifle at him." He said faintly.

He turned, following where the man had pointed.

[Verse Aura]

The general resistance comms channel crackled to life:

""Uh yeah, this is uhh, Verse 2-1 Actual. Calling all resistance personnel... just letting you know, something called a 'Purge Protocol' has been activated. I'm guessing that's bad."

[Dove Gray]

The last bolt cleared a path for them. "Come on, grab it, and let's go! It's clear!"

She kept the rifle at the ready as they were about to go out, and then Verse's transmission gave her pause. "What the kriff is 'Purge Protocol'? And is it something we might be able to stop from control?" Dove asked Floats.

Blinking, Petrus swallowed. "Glad I didn't toss the blaster rifle at him." He said faintly.

He turned, following where the man had pointed.

He sees Qareme checking on prisoners who seem to have been tortured.

The last bolt cleared a path for them. "Come on, grab it, and let's go! It's clear!"

She kept the rifle at the ready as they were about to go out, and then Verse's transmission gave her pause. "What the kriff is 'Purge Protocol'? And is it something we might be able to stop from control?" Dove asked Floats.

[Qareme Torth]

Qareme went from cell to cell checking. Any that could stand and walk on their own mostly unaided was helped up and paired with someone who either couldn't walk or needed help. Eventually she got back to the Senator.

"It is time to go Senator. Let me help you up. The resistance is here" she moved to help the woman stand.

"Well I'm just a simple country gal, but if I had to guess purge protocol is when they kill all the prisoners. Then again, could be making people throw up to avoid poisoning, either or."
With her loot firmly in hand Floats will beat feet with Dove towards the rest of the resistance and hopefully, a smooth evacuation with no complications.

Djanik opened the resistance speakers again.

"I repeat, all prisoners and rebelling troopers, get to the transports! The facility is compromised, prepare to leave!"

Sadly, his command voice didn't quite carry through the chaos like he wanted, but perhaps someone would hear.

Well, enough greeting. "How can I help?" He asked, frowning at the wounded. "Do they need to be carried? We're a little short on time..."

"Petrus? Why are...there is no time. There are many severely wounded here" Qareme looked to the woman she was helping, who clearly couldn't walk on her own with a broken leg.

"I believe everyone in these cells is accounted for. Senator Yanye here I will assist, please check that the others are able to make it and let us leave this vile place."

Qareme went from cell to cell checking. Any that could stand and walk on their own mostly unaided was helped up and paired with someone who either couldn't walk or needed help. Eventually she got back to the Senator.

"It is time to go Senator. Let me help you up. The resistance is here" she moved to help the woman stand.

The older woman said, "Thank you... I am not sure I can manage on my own."

"Do not worry Senator, I will get you out."

He wasn't sure how much it would help but he did what he could. Minutes, seconds might be important when they were making their escape after all.

With her loot firmly in hand Floats will beat feet with Dove towards the rest of the resistance and hopefully, a smooth evacuation with no complications.

"Well, I'm not planning on standing around to find out." Dove points the rifle at the console and lets the blaster bolts do the work for now. Hopefully a big salvo of laser would sabotage this Purge Protocol. Whatever it was.

Then it was time to beat feet alongside Floats!

Nodding quickly, Petrus moved to check the other cells while Qareme helped the Senator.

With a nod, Qareme and the Senator made their way to the ships. Qareme looking back and guiding any others that followed.

[Dapper Dog]

Already the Resistance was making an exit as alarm klaxons sounded through the halls... as the last of the transports pulled out the facility exploded into a ball of flames and steals ripping part of the canyon apart as the impossible mission came to an explosive end... this day was carried by the plucky if crazy Resistance.

OOC: For inserting the data chit it wipes many of the identities of the Resistance reducing Suspicion by 1.0 for all members attached or working with the Resistance in this scene. And yes you made it... for now.
