She catches a fleeting glimpse of moving shadow among the dunes.

Quietly, hoping not to alert... whoever it was, Sinnya moved to make her way to the edge of the gathering and follow the mystery shape.

((I'm actually not clear if we're indoors or outside, so I don't know what this would look like! I figure if I can't catch them I can at least... look for footprints or something?))

Randon cute girls popping out to chat, shadowy figures doing shadowy figure nonsense, it seemed they really needed to find a better place to meet. Or maybe they just needed to be a bit more careful of who they invitied, as it were they had a bucket full of people here that just wanted to join in the fun or something. Well, not that they could change any of that now.

"Well, we could get a quixk show of hands. Anyone here have enemies that may be stalking them?" AStin asked after a moment. "Might narrow down who is might be or something."

Jabber tilts his head

"Is there a reason why it should?"

He think for a moment. "Oh...you think I might have gotten caught up? Oh no no no. I'm from Tatooine. The Republic didn't even pretend that it was to try taking it from Hutt rule. Best I can tell, the CIS was all "hey, we don't want to be part of the Republic" and the Republic decided it didn't like that. I guess my biggest worry is how active and useful they are since it's been a few years."


Jabber offers a shrug. "Hey, I'm a pragmatist. The Empire less incompetent and LOOOOOT more likely to bash in skulls, but I'm not into this for love of the Republic"

''I am not in this for the Republic either...we have quite a few things in common...we will...'' before he could continue his sentence the unknown redhead jumped out of the shadows to warn them about a possible spy.

Reaching into his robes for his electrobinculars he asked ''What direction?''

The shadow is moving at high speed into the desert, with magbification it's a shadow riding a garish speeder that vanishes behind dunes.

[Bowze Coppa]

''It is riding a speeder...a very garish one at that.''

He raised an eyebrow

''I don't think that's an official Imperial issued speeder. Not one used for an official stealth mission at least.''

[Jurdak Surt]

"Well what's done is done. We are going through with the plan regardless from what I understand. Hopefully they arent imperial." Dak said with a resigned shrug, it wasnt ideal but it's not like they have much choice.

[Sinnya]

Sinnya had been able to point in the right direction, but didn't have binocs with her like the rude Nemoidian did. "Would you recognize the speeder if you saw it again? That may be the best we can do."

She looked back at her fellow conspirators and nodded agreement with Yusandr's conclusions about their situation.

"We'll move fast. If whoever that was is Imperial, it doesn't matter much whether we act or not--they saw all of us, and they're not picky about evidence." The tips of her lekku curled with distaste as she remembered her last brush with the rule of law on Bankor.

"If they're not Imperial, they only have a few hours to make contact and turn us in, and maybe no reason to do it. So... let's get this over with."

[Astin Denive]

"Looks like it has flames on the side, and while it's hard to tell... Well, it might be purple? It's some sort of dark shade. Hard to tell for certain given the light." Astin remarked as he dropped his optics away from his eyes. "Seems gang related maybe? Though I'd probably remember it if i saw it again."

"You're right though if we're going through with this the time to move is sooner rather then later."

[Jabber]

"there's supposed to be an outlaw group out in the desert. Maybe it's one of them?" Jabber looks around. "Do we have speeders?"

[Astin Denive]

"I think a group of Gammoreans use that color scheme to be honest. They call themselves the Dirty Demons if I remember correctly?" Astin offered with a nod towards the funny little guy in robes. Jawa, that's what they were called.

"As for speeders, I own one. Might not be wise to go chasing after him at the moment, but we can if someone want's to see if we can catch em."

[Bowze Coppa]

''Might be a bounty hunter as well.'' Bowze added ''They might not know the plan but they might be rewarded if they tip off the Empire to the current reunion.''

[Astin Denive]

"Well, likely as not we shouldn't concern ourselves with it to much. Chances are most of us are gonna die tomorrow anyways." Astin replied nonchalantly as he settled into his seat.

[Jenna Karath]

"Ask me," Jenna opened up while everyone was already talking about the speeder, her information was accurate and they knew that now, maybe a little more digging, "and your friend here," she indicated Mahon, "probably the one who picked himself up a few enemies. Company he keeps isn't like to play nice, ever. Some few of the others standing here can attest to that."

Shrugging she moved over toward her brother, "Seems to me you've all got yourself a list of potential enemies, too many to count even." With that she was beside her brother and said something, softly, only for him to hear.

[Petrus Karath]

Gently, Petrus shook his head. "I can't. I'm sorry, I can't. I need to do this. They need me."

[Mianerra Tavvos]

"Well, likely as not we shouldn't concern ourselves with it to much. Chances are most of us are gonna die tomorrow anyways." Astin replied nonchalantly as he settled into his seat.

"All beings are born to die. We live with that fact everyday," Mia added. She shot the man a smirk, though. "At least you have a good attitude about it."

"Well, when your plan centers around a man who changed sides two days ago to save his own life. One where I note he's inserted himself in as in a position of authority. And your hoping he doesn't sell you all out after seeing your base and all our faces for a promotion and a hefty bonus."

"Well, if you dont out a smile on your face and say. 'Fuck it, you only die once.' You might just start to get a bit depressed, and that's not likely to help matters."

[Jabber]

"ummm...they're getting away. Are you going to show me the speeder or are you letting one go?"

Jabber gestures in the direction of the rapidly departing speeder.

"I mean, if you're ok with it..."

"No point wating time and resources chasing them down. Were just going to hope that they cant ruin this whole thing." He nodded to the others "I've lived more in my time than most, I'm at peace if tomorrow is my last stop."

[Mianerra Tavvos]

"Huh. You took the words right outta my mouth for that one, Speed Freak." Mia sat back down next to him, lying back and staring at the ceiling. She wasn't so sure about why the prisoner was now in charge, why nobody had chased after the speeder after seeing it. It was all very confusing and something told her it wasn't just her being a bit dim again.

Mia reached into her coat and held out her bottle of whiskey to Astin. "Care for a swig, then?"

[Dapper Dog]

"ummm...they're getting away. Are you going to show me the speeder or are you letting one go?"

Jabber gestures in the direction of the rapidly departing speeder.

"I mean, if you're ok with it..."

A few agents give chase but the rider had a huge headstart.

[Jabber]

"Ohhhhkayyy" Jabber looks over at Bowse. "Ok, I think we should go. This is compromised. I'm all for doing something,but we are off to a rough start. We should get some Intel and start building something like you were talking about."

[Bowze Coppa]

Jabber goes to make a quiet goodbye, slinking out without drawing attention.
